  • The best Strings I ever used!

    I hate to gush, but these strings are the best! I love the feel, and sound. The sound was and still is spot on after several weeks of heavy playtime. These strings also just slide so easily, and I love having that option. Some strings I've used, like martin and john pearse, have only been good for sliding on when they were brand new. Elixirs blow them away as far as feel and sound. Nice even sound, balanced. Not really loud like other strings I've used! Hardly any "string talk" to speak of. Mandolin strings can be loud, like annoyingly loud, tinny and twangy. Of elixirs, I have found no equal.

  • Elixir strings=strong power sound

    I am a mandolin player as well as tenor banjo and guitarist also fiddle in Celtic, Jazz, Bluegrass bands. I discovered the great sound of Elixir strings through a friend. After using these strings I have found that with Elixir one can get such a better sound especilly in acostic settings. The overall string life is unbelievable, if you are a true musician, you owe it to yourself to go with Elixir. 5-star rating, and what more can I say, go with the best!
