Elixir Strings with Nanoweb coating last longer and sound great!

Gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46.

The engineers at Elixir took their original Polyweb coating and shrunk it down to Nanoweb size. The result? Brighter-sounding electric guitar strings that last 3 to 5 times longer than regular strings.

In addition to an ultrathin grunge-resistant tubular coating on the wound strings, Nanowebs now have a revolutionary Anti-Rust plating on the plain strings to extend their life too.

Elixirs are the first major innovation in guitar strings in over forty years, and they deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.

  • BEST STRINGS

As reviewed by I know what I'm talking about on 1/2/2010

These strings are quite amazing. Unlike other strings that just lose that new string quality these stay "fresh" for a really long time. Usually I have to change strings every couple of weeks but these have really lasted. Great tone they just need to be stretched out like every other string. They stay in-tune really well and if anyone complains that they don't they either don't know how to string a guitar or they need a new set up. Over all great buy, kind of expensive for strings but totally worth it.

  • The only choice for professional players

As reviewed by PVinKC on 8/8/2009

Since the moment I first tried these strings they have been the ONLY strings that I put on my electrics and acoustics. Just be sure to stretch 'em out good and put them on a decent instrument with a proper set-up and you'll have many hours of use. They take everything that I throw at them and keep on tickin'. The guy who wrote a bad review must work for another manufacturer or doesn't know how to tune or set up a guitar properly. BUY THESE!!!

  • Great Strings for Kicking Out The Jams

As reviewed by Sloan on 2/11/2008

I've been using Elixers for quite a number of years now. They feel good a long time. I recently did a test with a set of regular Ernie Ball strings and concluded that within two hours of constant playing, they were already reaching an almost unplayable state. This just won't do since I usually play 4-6 hours at a regular gig. I've had a set on one guitar that have been there almost a year now. I still can't believe I haven't had to change them yet. The only reason I buy regular strings now is to use as backups so if I break a string, I can replace it in between sets. They may cost more upfront, but will save you money in the long run.
