A solution to gunky strings!

Enjoy the playing ease of an electric guitar with great note-bending ability. Elixirs are the first major innovation in strings in over forty years, and deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.

Elixir Polyweb Strings are covered with an ultra-thin, space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone!

Most players report that Elixir Strings keep sounding great three to five times longer than ordinary strings. Extra light. Gauges 10-14-23-30-39-47.

Good strings but...

When I went to put them on, one of them broke. I also saw that the coating started to come off. Other than that there pretty good, despite the fact that that there still is a little string squeak, but that doesn't make them bad. After I'd ordered them I found out that they weren't the type of strings my guitar was recommended. The first few day's are the best although you have to tune them often, there still the best day's trust me. I probably won't buy elixers next time. I also wanted to mention the price. That is alot of cash for not top shelf strings. You could get a three pack for that price. Over all I wouldn't recommend. These aren't top shelf strings for the price of top shelf srtings.
