I used this wireless for the first time at a gig last week, and was blown away with the ease of use, and tonal characteristics! The one-button push clear scan was so easy, I never even cracked the manual. I was using a Shure ireless with a Beta58 head on it, and right away I noticed more clarity and punch on my voice. Really crisp highs with out any harshness. Lifted my voice right out on top of the mix. I like the fact that the receiver is made in the U.S.A. too... I can't beleive it took me this long to go with EV...
I purchased the wired EV RE410 condenser mic and loved it so much that I purchased the wireless hand held condenser. The sound quality is outstanding! It's equal to the wired microphone which is "AAA+". I'm a classically trained tenor, I appreciate the great sounds that only a human instrument can make. I also appreciate having the wireless freedom to interact with the audience. I opened the box, hooked it up and immediately started to use it. I read the manual later that's how easy and intuitive it is to use. Excellent!
