The Electro-Harmonix Micro Q-Tron Envelope Follower Effects Pedal is everything you love about the Mini Q-Tron, in an even smaller, rounded-corner die-cast case! The Micro Q-Tron is a unique type of sound modifier, in which the user's playing style controls the effect. The volume of the input signal (also called the envelope) controls the cutoff frequency of a swept filter. As the volume increases or decreases, so does the pitch of the filter.
Drive Control - The filter sweep sensitivity control. Determines the width of the filter's sweep range by the input signal. Produces more sweep when it's turned clockwise.
Q Control &ndash Determines the frequency peak of the filter. Creates a more dramatic effect when turned clockwise.
Mode Switch (LP, BP, HP)-Determines what frequency range the filter will pass through. Emphasizes lows in LP (Low Pass), midrange in BP (Band Pass), and highs in HP (High Pass).
Footswitch - Engages and disengages the effect.
Connections - Connect your instrument to the Input jack and your amplifier to the Output jack.
Power - The Micro Q-Tron is powered by either a 9V battery or an optional Electro-Harmonix US96DC-200BI 9VDC Guitar Effects Power Supply. Inserting a cable into the Input jack engages the battery. For longer battery life disconnect the input cable when not in use.
Playing The Micro Q-Tron
The Micro Q-Tron's effect is controlled by the user's playing dynamics - a stronger attack will yield a more dramatic effect, while softer playing will produce more subtle effects. Use the full range of control settings in combination with different playing techniques to obtain a number of different and unique effects combinations.

First off the pedals are cheap and made in China! I bought my Micro Q-tron pedal about 3 months ago, I still have the receipt and original box. I also sent in the little warranty card with my stamp! 2 days ago my pedal stopped working and I called them up. They told me to send it back in with a check for $13 and they would repair it. I told them it was under warranty still. They said that check would cover shipping and handling to get it back to me. RU Serious I just bought this thing! Now I got a go stand in line at the post office and mail back and pay money! I told then never mind I am just gonna throw it in the trash and not buy any more pedals from them. I could not run my shop like that! I would never treat my customers like that! I would rather stay at work make enough money to buy a Mutron-lll and have a quality product from 30 years ago!
Simple way to get auto wah like sounds and more. Fits easy on my pedal board. Great quality and sound for the price. I've had it for a few weeks and meets all my needs to cover Jerry Garcia type sounds. It's light but built like a tank. I like it a lot
best filter pedal. I've had many others but this one is the best. it has different settings for any type of play. i defenitly recommend this pedal to anyone
