Even though I rated this 3 stars I like it enough that I bought 2. When I use all my pedals I just set one on the left side of mic stand and one on the right. The only thing I would suggest to all is head over to the hardware store and get a piece of plexiglass cut to fit and remove sharp edges and corners. If they had just stiffened the bottom some it would be perfect but hey it's on the floor so not a real big problem. Just something I'd prefer.
this pedal bag is just great!!! you can roughly fit 7 pedals of different sizes including a wah by saving all the space possible..... you got a nice pocket on the front where you can keep extra velcro for emergencies.... I read some reviews of some people who bought this bag complaining about the zipper and the velcro but let me tell you the zipper is perfect you just have to realize that it's position is not straight, in the corners the zipper position goes down so you just have to open it carefully.... and the velcro sticks very well to the pedals and keep them in place on the bag I give it a perfect 5/5 stars because it's everything I need.
I got this pedalbag for my special needs. I have a Korg Kaoss Pad 2, a DigiTech Whammy, and a DigiTech Bad Monkey. Because of the Kaoss Pad's size, i needed something long. I could sacrifice width for length. This pedal bag fits them perfectly, along with space for a power strip 2 expression pedals (if i put the bad monkey sideways under the kaoss pad). The side flaps for cables are useful for hooking up the whammy. the dividers, though conveneient for not stomping on my kaoss pad, can interfere with stepping on expression pedals or stompboxes. The outside pocket easily holds my 3 power adaptors for my pedals, and can hold maybe 2 more. Extremely lightweight and protective, this bag is a very good buy. Cheap, yet effective. I plan on getting a Fuzz Factory and an Expression Factory, because i have that much space left for them to fit easily. If you have a bunch of stompboxes, i would suggest a pedalboard that has a shape closer to a square. It would accommodate more stompboxes, while the long and thin design of this pedal bag allows for more expression pedals without wasting space.
Not a bad buy for a pedalboard. While not as sturdy as the more expensive brands, it does the job well. Easily holds up to eight standard effect pedals however wah and volume pedals take up a lot more space than other boxes. The bag does keep the pedals safe and are secure enough with the supplied velcro strips it comes with. Downfalls are it takes some work to set pedals in there and swapping pedals in and out takes a little work too. If you're on a budget, good buy. If you can afford sturdier cases I would recommend that option.
I only occasionally use pedals, so I was looking for something small and easy to carry. This was just what I was looking for. It holds my tuner, 2 pedals, and my amp's channel pedal with enough room left over to carry all my cords and a power supply. I use the outside pocket to hold my extra strings, picks, and capo. All I need to carry now is my guitar case and this. I can unzip, pull my cords out the side holes, plug in, and I'm all set. My only issue is that I wish the velcro strips inside were laid out a little differently, some people may have to adjust their pedal layout to make it hold securely. Also, people who are really heavy pedal users may not like the lack of a hard bottom. But for me a very nice buy for the money.
I've owned this bag for about 5 years. I'm a big discreet pedal fan. The bag comes with Velcro strips on the inside to accomodate pedal mounting. I can fit 6 Boss-size pedals across it and a power strip above them. It has worn well over the last 5 years. Just now it's beginning to show wear around the corners. The zippers have held up fabulously. I like the shoulder strap feature, but the extra-wide plastic shoulder pad fell apart within the first few weeks of use. It came with two dividers that one can position as needed, but I've discarded them as being not really useful to me. The built-in exit panels in the sides are meant for cable exits, which I've found unnecessary. But, they show good thinking by the designers and someone may put them to good use. The outer zippered pocket is a great addition and is big enough for spare hardware, capo, picks, etc. This bag paid for itself the first gig after buying it because of the time saved setting up and tearing down with 6 pedals and the concurrent wear and tear; not having to pack/unpack each pedal and wires for each! It has kept my pedals safe and secure for five years and I expect it to go another five. It's a GREAT buy for the money.
