NEW REVIEW - dont ask just buy it!!

i waited a while to post this so i could abuse the crap out of this pedal, first off buy it even if you dont use the distortion it puts out(yes you can turn it down that far)the sustain alone that this pedal gives off is worth it talk about nice warm fuzzy feeling this is it!!!

Awesome distortion and signal boost from Bass Big Muff

I love this pedal's unique sandy, rich push and break-up. I've always wanted the sound of my guitar players' Big Muffs, though the original Big Muffs don't work too well for bass. This pedal lets your amp's tone and strengths shine through. I'm especially impressed with the "Dry" setting, which mixes about 40% of your dry tone with the Muff's sweet break-up, heft, and push. If you play heavy or aggressive music, where you need extra push and dynamics the Bass Big Muff is a must. The Ampeg SVT (I play a classic 70's one) sounds amazing and down right evil with this pedal!!!

Big Muf Pi (Bass)

Great pedal, and really simple. You can Dial in the Tone & sustain, then just turn the volume to where you want it. It remains crunchy @ any volume level. I don't rely on distortion, but like to add it to my sound on occasion. This pedal is great because when you just want to add some fuzz, you can do it, and by using the bass boost switch, you don't loose any of the bottom end (This is the problem I had with other distortion pedals like the boss Bass OD). That's it, really simple, oh, and I guess I should say that between the tone & sustain, you can really dial in a great deal of tones from a little fuzz to some crunchy distortion.

made a good choice

this is definitely a pedal that i would recommend to anyone into rock music, from a small classic rock fuzz (think sabbath), to a full on industrial nine inch nails distortion, this pedal can do it, I felt it added alot more girth to my bottom end as well. Your attack also influences the amount of effect you get as well, great build too. good job ehx

NEW REVIEW - Nice fat distortion.

The pedal kicks butt. I use it a lot especially on solos. I have a stereo set up where the Big Muff is on one side. It sounds great and doesn't lose any tone.
