Love at second bite

I bought this pedal thinking it would be a "do-it-all" vibro/trem pedal. When i first got it i was debating over this or the Pulsar. I went for this because i was needing bang for the buck. When it arrived i plugged it into the amp with no other effects and played around with it. I was a bit disappointed with it. For an Electro-Harmonix pedal it just didnt do anything crazy. Basically what you would expect from any pedal claiming the same features. I was frustrated and considered returning it. As a last ditch effort i plugged in my DS-1 before the Worm and oh my god, all the vibro/trem,phase,and wah came out of the woodworks. It was amazing and sounded like a completely different pedal. Now i get nice long Vibratoed sustains and insane auto wah on solos. A must buy but unless you have a really nice amp and guitar, which i do not, this might not be a great stand alone unit. But run a little drive/sustain enhancing pedal action before it and this thing is analog heaven. Im glad i didnt send it back before expirementing. Im very happy though i might still by the Pulsar after while. Also the intstructions are really bad. They dont explain the auto/manual switch and one knob is labeled wrong. Hmmmm, other then that i love this pedal, not all the control id like but definitely more sounds then i expected for the money. Now if i just had money for the Memory Man Deluxe...
