    This gem has the most biting distortion sound I've heard in any pedal...nails the "Enter Sandman" tone on my guitar with gain at about 3 or 4 and the scoop set at low (middle position). I had to have this after seeing a demo on you tube and am very happy with it! Note that this is not a smooth overdrive and is not your mom's pedal!

  • Best Metal Distortion Made.

    This is the best distortion pedal I have used so far. I originally purchased the Metal Muff with the three band EQ and two foot switches. It sounded great in the store, but when I hooked it up to my amp at home it sounded horrible so I took it back. It just wasn't compatable with my amp. I have had this problem in the past with other distortion pedals with tone knobs on them. I bought a pedal with just volumne and distortion knobs, they seem to work the best with my amp. Then I saw the Metal Muff Nano in a magazine so I bought it. It sounded better than I thought it would. The mid-scoop switch is amazing. It made my old Fender amp sound like a Mesa-boogie. I am not lying, the mid switch makes that much of a difference. Of course I also have Celestion Vintage 30's in my amp and run Dimarzio pickups in my guitars. Combine this pedal with a BBE Sonic Stomp like I did and you will get the heavy distortion you want and a very professional sound.

  • don't tread on me

    This pedal gives a really nice metal distortion sound. I went to a guitar center store to try out pedals and i bought this one because of the quality for the price. Its made of metal so its hard to damage. The only thing that i dont like about it is that you can only change the distortion level and the volume, theres no equalizer adjustments or anything else.
