  This amp is great! It fits on my pedal board and I run it between my PodXTlive and a 1x12 cabinet. It's nice and simple, plus it in and it goes. You can even get some nice distortion break if you want to turn it up really loud. But this thing is the bomb for multi effects users, especially if you're running a pre-amp with amp modeling. It's pure amplification with no color. Have fun with this one. This thing is super reliable and very compact. I keep it on my pedal board and run a long speaker cord to my cabinet. But you could just as easily put it on top of your cabinet. It's flexible and simple, but it rocks!

  I bought this for my current set up as my main power amp. I did this for a few of reasons- It is space efficient, it seemed to sound good from reviews, and I could use it as a back up power amp in the future. I was pleased when it arrived that it sounded so great just on its own (since my multi-effects pedal still hadn't arrived). It is surprisingly powerful as well! I was slightly worried that is wouldn't push my Mesa Boogie 2x12 Cab enough, but for 44 watts solid state it does its job very well!

• Alternative use - Stereo-ize an amp

  I bought this amp to create a stereo effects spread. The signal flow works like this: Guitar into Egnater Rebel 20 head, effects loop out to stereo effects, left side sent back to Egnater effects loop return and the right side sent to this little amp. Two separate speaker cabinets create the stereo. It works great. The guitar tone is never digitized so there is no tone loss. When you raise the volume of the Egnater head this follows along. The unit is well built and sounds good on its own. It could also be used to create a wet-dry-wet stereo spread if you bought two and placed them on opposite sides of your main amp. It would also make a nice back-up amp for the working professional who can't break down.
