  • Killer Tubes

    I am using a Crate Blue Voodoo Halfstack with the 50 watt head. I origianlly had Sovtek 12AX7WB in the preamp and Sovtek 5881's in the power section. I found it to be a bit shrilly...just too much noise. I tried some KT77's, too much bottom. Switched to 5881 and the Electro 12ax7 in the preamp and driver position and love it. I have my gain at 1 o'clock and it is almost too much. I can hit the super-driven Judas Priest or Fight and even the Megadeth gain( since Marty Friedman used these amps ).

    Electro Harmonix is one of the best brands.....This tube powers you up with a high amount of gain and no fuzz at all or feedback. Its really good I recommend it

  • Best Ever

    I've had a Marshall Jcm800 50watt Giving to me from a guy who didnt play as much, and this amp has never had its tubes changed, when i threw out the old ones and put in a matched pair of these it was awsome, very tight warm sound with the right fuzz and little to no feedback depending on the guitar i highly recommend these tubes.
