Product Information

Like four separate amps in one head.

Each of the Tourmaster 4100 amp head's channels has an identical set of controls, but that is where the similarities end.

Clean/Vintage 1 is the cleanest of the four. Within this channel lives a range of Classic tones ranging from pristine sparkle with the voicing switch set to MODERN to a punchy, aggressive drive (think clean JTM) in the CLASSIC mode. Pressing the button to activate the CONTOUR control opens an entire new range of beautiful clean, almost acoustic, tones not often found in a tube amplifier.

Clean/Vintage 2 has a very similar voicing to the Clean/Vintage 1 channel. This channel has more gain, so it can be pushed into mild overdrive. Sweet blues and classic rock tones are easily coaxed out of this channel. The contour knob adds another level of unique flavors.

Overdrive 1: From AC/DC crunch to modern rock, this channel covers a lot of bases all by itself. Dial down the gain and the feel is pure classic rock. Push the gain and enter into more modern, saturated territory. Scoop the mids with the CONTOUR control for monstrous metal or set it for classic British rhythm.

Overdrive 2: The Tourmaster's most intense channel, you'll find ferocious gain with a wide range of tones to suit the 80s shredder as well as the heaviest modern metal player. Scoop the mids with the powerful CONTOUR control for massive crunch or push the midrange for a solo tone that cuts through with serious authority.

Power Grid: This is a really cool feature you will only find on the Egnater Tourmaster amps. Using a group of 5 slide switches on the rear panel, you can set the power output for each channel individually. There is a 3-position slide switch corresponding to each of the four channels and a single FULL POWER/ HALF POWER slide switch. In FULL POWER mode, you can choose between 100w, 50w or 25w per channel. In the HALF POWER mode, you can between choose 50w, 25w or 10w per channel.

With the Tourmaster 4100 amp head, you not only have a wide array of tones available from the preamp channels, but with the Power Grid you can introduce any amount of power tube distortion you wish to each channel: all preset, all automatic.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Excellent Amplifier = Egnater

I gave this amp 5 stars because it sounds awesome and the features are incredible. You can't beat 4 channels of raw 100 watt tube driven power at this price. For the first channel I have it set at sparkling clean with no drive whatsoever. The second channel I run it clean but with a little tiny bit of drive. The third channel i run a classic rock distortion. The fourth channel is all out rock distortion with a furocious power that melts faces. I got rid of all my overdrive and distortion pedals because with this amp who needs 'em. I'm running a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Classic through this amp, and I have never heard this guitar sound better. I've played with Marshall JVM's, JCM's, Vintage Moderns, Mesa Boogie's, Budda's, but i never got the exact sound i was looking for. I was pretty much a tone freak in search of the perfect tone until I met this amp. The Egnater Tourmaster does it all.

This amp is great.

I fisrt bought a Mesa boogie triple rectifier, and thought i had it made, until i got it home and played it for a week or two, then i realized i could only do a certain amount of things with it, and while it got great tones and sounded awesome, it wasn't what I wanted. THen i played the egnater. Oh man. This amp blew the mesa out of the water, especially the clean channel. Also the power grid is an awesome feature. Id recommend you go and buy it. Now. No i mean right now.

The search is over.

I've been looking at multiple channel high gain amps for a long time - Marshalls, Mesas, Kranks, Carvins, you name it. They all have something good, but the Egnater has EVERYTHING. The first OD channel has an almost Marshallesque sound to it, tight and aggressive. The second OD is huge, with a fat bottom that reminds me of a mesa rectifier. The first clean channel is pristine and beautiful, with lots of sparkle and harmonics. And finally, the second clean channel can take you from a woolier clean up to a classic bluesy overdrive that works great for Zeppelin-type stuff. The power grid is absolutely magical - cut the wattage on the overdrive channels to soak them in rich power amp distortion, and keep the cleans at full power for a big, open sound. Or do whatever you want with it. From ten to a hundred watts, that's genius. If you're looking for any particular sound, you'll find it here.

OH MOMMA!!

This amp is incredible! And the price can't be beat with a stick. The power grid is an awesome feature that amps costing hundreds more fail to offer. The classic modern voicing option kicks ass,as does the oh so sweet contour control. All the controls are smooth as silk, intuitive, and well laid out. The included foot pedal is sturdy and a much appreciated bonus. Buy this MONSTER now before the price goes up. Right now you're not paying for the name...but that's subject to change.

REAL TUBES !!!!!

Best amp. This amp is three times as loud as a Marshall and has better speakers. Having 30 speakers means you won't blow them unlike the 25's. The tubes are warm, and are the best I've ever played. I bought the half-stack 2 weeks after i played it. Worth the money.
