Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master Delay and Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal (H97149)
Availability:

The smaller and more modern answer to the well loved limited run Ghost Disaster from 2010!

The Dispatch Master is a digital delay and reverb unit with an all analog direct signal path and true bypass switching. It is capable of producing nearly 2 seconds of delay time with near-infinite repeats and a cavernous reverb. Both effects can be run separately or in unison. Even though it is a DSP based effect, the sound is warm and full. No sterile lifeless tones here! The delay signal is clear and strong with no after effects or signal degradation and the repeats decay into a nice ambient swell with no oscillation. The reverb is MASSIVE and is sure to please those who love the Ghost Echo but want more depth and less artifacts. The perfect "Black Hole Ambience Generator"!

Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master Delay and Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal Features:

  • Controls:
Time: Controls the delay time, from 0ms to nearly 2000ms
Repeats: Controls the regeneration of the delayed signal. Also acts as a enhancer for the reverb. In reverb mode this will control the thickness, decay, depth and overall nature of the reverb.
    Reverb: Controls the reverb mix
Mix: Controls the over all level of the effected signal
To use as a reverb only, turn the time control all the way down and adjust the reverb and mix controls to taste. In this mode, the repeats control can be used to enhance the thickness, decay, depth and overall nature of the reverb. With the reverb control at it’s maximum setting, the repeats control will gradually overload the effect at higher settings.

    True bypass
Hand made one at a time in landlocked Akron, Ohio.

  • Incredible Pedal

As reviewed by David curtis on 10/4/2013

This is a very transparent, highly musical pedal. The versatility is wide and varied. The warmth of the pedal is very pleasing to the ear, not harsh at all. Turning up the reverb knob makes the delay sound rich and full. You can run the pedal strictly as a reverb pedal or strictly as a delay pedal. Both are great sounding on their own, but the real magic happens when combining them both. This is a truly incredible pedal.

  • Great pedal!!

As reviewed by Dave Hughson on 9/3/2013

I bought this pedal to use as a standard reverb as I use a Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome for the over the top stuff. It works great for that and I use the delay to beef up my signal and "double up" the notes played. Great pedal worth every penny!!

  • A sweet addition to your array...

As reviewed by Francesco Garripoli on 4/19/2014

These guys from Akron really rock... I have their Depths pedal and that gave me trust that they have musicians' best interest in mind with their products... So when I wanted a delay pedal, I tried a few before Dispatch Master... and then when I sat with this sweet pedal in the noise of the Compton, CA Guitar Center and ran it through its paces, I loved that it sounded so good even in the chaos of the store with PA blaring and wanna-be rock stars working their way through bad versions of Van Halen - which is really what playing live can be sometimes :)) So a clean-ass delay that cuts through and the added juice of a rich reverb for this price is a deal all-round. Now in my practice studio having both the Depths AND the Dispatch Master together - both set really back in the mix - I get a tone that I have been looking for... Hey, it's all personal right?... but have flexibility with a clean set of tools that go the range is what it's all about. I got rid of a bunch of hardware to make room for these babies in my attempt to get the "sound I was looking for"... Hope you push for that too! I can't wait for my next live gig!
