Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I got this guitar, to use as a backup, at guitar center. But when i got home a plugged it into my amp my mouth dropped. It is now my one and only soloing guitar!!!!! It is a great beginner guitar as long as you know how to use the floyd rose setup. i highly recommend this guitar to anyone who can shred on a guitar.

amazing

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

this is an amazing guitar fron the rock solid trem up to the smooth 24 fret neck. i ordered and recieved this guitar about 3-4 months ago after playing for a couple years on my fender strat. right after i got this, and plugged it in and jammed on it, i was amazed. the people here at guitar center are very generous on their prices because this guitar was low in price and this baby plays like a $900 guitar. so if you're looking for a $900-$1200 quality guitar, come right here because this guitar is amazing. i know i wont be switching guitars for a very long time

Great guitar for an amazing price

By Jeremy Henri

from Portland, Oregon

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I got this guitar in the very beginning of the summer, a week or so after graduation. I couldn't have picked a better time to get my first Floyd Rose style guitar and I couldn't be happier with it. I kept it in drop D for a while, then I slapped it down to drop C, for some Killswitch Engage playing. Now, I've gotten another guitar (Ibanez RG5EX1), which I've put in D standard, so I'll be bringing this one back up to drop D. The only problem I had was it keeping in tune, I guess my palm would rub the fine tuners, or something, cus the strings come out of tuning every couple of hours. But other than that, this guitar is pretty much perfect, especially for the price. floyd rose?! yeah, it's for real!

treasure in the trash

By adrian f.

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

i got this guitar bout a year ago, used from my local GC. all i can say bout the price is, IT WAS A STEAL!!!. the sound on this beast, was well, beast!! the condition was nearly mint, minus a few dings on the back, the tone knob was loose, nothing a little work couldn't fix. one of the locking nuts was missing, but they replaced it at GC. now, the sound on this 24 fret monster is amazing, the bridge delivers exactly what i want, and no matter how low i put my drive on my line 6 spider 3 15 watt, this guitar can still make it sound deadly. the neck pickup lacks a little when played through distortion, but thats just age on my guitar. the floyd rose is perfection, never goes out of tune, only when i go to hard and my hand moves the fine tuners. ESP made a great guitar and put it out there for a REALLY amazing price, i would still buy this guitar at the new price, but i got mine for a steal, im happy with this beast! when you see this guitar at a GC, GET IT! DONT WAIT, GET IT NOW!

ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar

By P. McClung

from Natchitoches, LA

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Sweet neck design, feather light relief, and gut-busting pickups perform better than expected for the price. For the intermediate musician, this is plenty of guitar for the party scene, the club, or even the stage. Well crafted knobs and switch, solid neck and bridge designs provide great quality for the price paid. I still don't love the tuning lock design when it's time to change strings, but I'm sure I will get used to it after while. Needless to say, The Guitar Center provides fast efficient service, and they always stand readily behind anything they sell.

My First Guitar (LET DOWN!!)

By Jimi

from virginia beach, va

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I got this guitar back in 08 and i was excited to get home and play it, and believe me it truely seems like it's a great guitar the look (unique), the sound (awesome) but the BIGGEST let down on this guitar is THE TUNNING!! I want a new guitar JUST BECAUSE HOPEFULLY MY NEW GUITAR WILL TUNE!!! this guitar is terrible for tunning. I highly cannot stand it on that. but everything else is good

A new way

By Gilberto

from Monterrey

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

For me is a magnific instrument, I have a Fender Stratocaster and the differences are huge, boths are good guitars, but for those who like to use loud sounds or heavy distortions is a good option, the sounds are very clean, also is very Ligth so trying quit notes or speed is very easy in comparisson with a Strato, the only I would like to have is that the guitar didn't come with a case, and trying to get one of the brand may be not easy, for the rest I highly recommend the ESP LTD MH-50

should cost more

By Aidan

from evergreen park IL

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

i bought this guitar and it plays great, sounds great, and looks great. i fell in love as soon as i heard the floyd rose scream with the pickups. the only fault is that it is hard to tune i ended up breaking a string the day i bought it but that is an easy fix. i reccomend it to any metal guitarist looking for a great guitar on a low budget.

Great guitar....but FR Special

By Steve Jwa

from Pomfret CT

Comments about ESP MH-50 Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

This was my first guitar that I got from local GC store almost a year ago. It was one of the used models hanging on the walls among with other LTD models. This was way before I had enough knowledges about guitar and its specs, so I happened to randomly grabbed one that caught my eye. I was into Metallica back in days, and because this guitar looked very similar to Kirk Hammett's ESP, I decided to go with it. Because I had little knowledge about guitars, I had no idea what to do with Floyd Rose, so I hated it for quite long time. However, it turned out that this was a great guitar later on. After learning how to tune Floyd Rose "Special," I barely had any problems with tuning issues. Guitar body is very solid as if it was made to last, holds in tune very well, and the pickups are very versatile, even though they are ESP made ones, not Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio. I played this guitar on Roland Cube 15W and Line 6 Spider IV 15W amps, and guitar made amazing tones out of them. Only real problem I had with guitar was adjusting Floyd Rose bridge, since it was not a Original FR, I had to block off the tremolo before restringing the guitar, and I also had to adjust the screws on the back of the guitar to adjust the height of the bridge. I would not recommend it to very beginners because of all that bridge adjustments. But I personally think this guitar is awesome, as for its affordable price with descent features. I've heard ESP is one of the best guitar companies around the world, and certainly this guitar is undeniably good regardless of the fact that it is affordable model, however, if you were to buy this guitar, be aware that FR bridge may cause problems with tuning and restringing (this is not only for this guitar, but for all the guitars with "Floyd Rose Speical" as their bridge feature)
