The gorgeous flamed maple top on a basswood body provides edge and substance to the thick, gritty tone of the ESP LTD Viper-100FM Electric Guitar. 2 ESP LH-150 humbuckers. Black nickel hardware gives it a dark, sultry look while 24 jumbo frets on a thin U neck contour pave the way for fleet-fingered riffing.

I have over 20 years of playing and this is the best.At any price. I had to make some small adjustments( neck p/u was set to low)and lift tail bridge to remove fret buzz. I less than 5 min adjustment were made!! I play very hard and it stays in tune!!
Before i had received this guitar I actually had a real stratocaster. I had bought this guitar just to mess around with and didn't take it too seriously when buying, well it isn't as good as a strat but i liked it a lot. This guitar is actually way better than i expected. I actually play it more than my strat. This guitar is an excellent beginner guitar and it is worth the price.
I've had this guitar for a few weeks now and find it rather difficult to stop playing it. I can play for hours with this thing. The neck is really smooth and is quite comforatble, especially with my small hands. The humbuckers, to my amazement, actually sound pretty crisp and clean. The input jack was loose when i recieved it, i tightened it up and it hasnt given me any problems since. The switch is nice and stiff and works like charm. Played through any amp, this guitar sounds great distorted and clean, strings dont get out of tune unless you play hardcore for hours. the finish looks just like its displayed, no scratches or nicks. the overview of this is guitar is that it is well worth the money. great for beginners and experienced players, and is certainly worth more than you pay for. i recommend this guitar without a doubt. Buy It!
Ordered this one a few months ago, as soon as i opened the box i was surprised to see how good this guitar actually looks. It sounds great and is made of quality materials. I dont see one problem so far. Great price too.
This is an excellent guitar for the price. Since buying a Les Paul, then a Strat many years ago, I always strayed from guitars made overseas, but this one had me hooked. It feels solid and appears to made with good quality materials. The sound will only be as good as your equipment, so I can't comment on that, but the clean tone sounds as good as you'd expect from a guitar with 2 humbuckers. I liked this guitar so much, that after only 3 weeks with it, I went and bought another ESP guitar called a MH400-NT, which they now market as a MH401-NT (I have a good review of that one also). For the price range, I haven't found anything from Ibanez, Jackson Etc. that matches the quality. The flame maple finish looks brilliant. I have already convinced 1 of my students to trade his "Dinky" for one.
I got this guitar a few weeks ago and i instantly fell in love with it. The finish is a nice glossy black with whats called a "quilted top" or something like that. The "Viper 100FM" inlay at the twelfth gives it a nice touch as well. I play worship for my church occasionally and the sound is pretty good. It's got a nice crunch with my foot pedal, so I'm satisfied. I only got good reactions when people saw it so, i guess that's a good thing. It is well worth the price and you won't be sorry you bought it.
