Insane Fret Buzz, Returned It

Comments about ESP LTD MH350NT Quilted Maple Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar because I wanted to try an ESP/LTD. I have owned Jackson and Schecter but I wanted to try something new. Guitar Center had to order the guitar for me so I had it shipped to my house. As soon as I took it out and started playing it I realized it had a ton of fret buzz above the 12th fret. It looked like a few of the frets were starting to come up and at some places it rubbed so bad it killed the note. I took it in and their tech hammered down a few frets and raised the action. It helped a lot, but after bringing it back home I realized that there were still a few dead spots around the 17th and 18th frets. I took it back and they told me that they would just order me another one. While I waited for the new one to arrive I started looking up reviews on this model and similar LTD models. It seems like fret buzz if a very common problem with LTD's in general. In forums and on You Tube I read many complaints about the problem. Once the new one arrived I decided to return it before I even opened it. I had the Schecter Hellraiser in the past and that guitar was solid. I loved that guitar and regretted selling it. I decided to return the LTD and get a Schecter Blackjack SLS. Just like my other Schecter it was perfect right out of the box. That new LTD might have been fine but I'm glad I went with Schecter instead of this guitar. By the way the picture online is deceiving. It looks really blue in the picture but when I got the guitar it is actually smokey grey. If I had seen it in the store I would have never thought it was a ""faded blue"" I would have just thought grey. But it actually is a pretty good looking guitar.

Kind of misleading

Comments about ESP LTD MH350NT Quilted Maple Electric Guitar:

This guitars finish did not look as nice as the one in the picture show here. Electronics were good and it had the metal tone of emgs, however the finish thined out around the knobs so you could see the wood which is pretty disapointing for over $600. The neck is aslo described as a thin u but it was alot fatter than my other ltd mh which has the same thin u profile. Maybe i got a dud but not happy with this one from ltd.

Comments about ESP LTD MH350NT Quilted Maple Electric Guitar:

I have owned this guitar for a while now and it is great! Has a good metal crunch to it. At this price it is a steal! Only problem I had was adjusting the bridge to do away with the metal static sound. When I got it from gc the adjustments were garbage, but with a hour of work and new strings it was great. Love this guitar performs at every show and does its thing. Very consistent.
