I just got this guitar as an early christmas gift and it is one of the best things I have ever played. It's so fast, and sounds amazing in drop C with those EMGs. It never comes out of tune. The picture in the ad does no justice for how sweet the body is painted, it looks phenominal. I do recommend changing the strings though to just something that you normally use.
GREAT GUITAR!!!!!!! i bought this a while back and love it. it took me a while to think about what i wanted, and this was it. This guitar is smooth when it comes to playing. it has a nice clean sound when using the neck pickups. the floyd rose makes it even better, since its an actual floyd rose unlike other guitar at the same price. the guitar almost never goes out of tune after playing some Van Halen (constantly using floyd). i suggest that whomever is interested in this guitar should play it before ordering.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite guitars. I have the see-thru blue model, although the red one is very pretty as well. Aesthetically, it's a very smooth, simple look that's both graceful and aggressive. Performance-wise, there's a lot of resonance from the body, and coupled with the EMGs it delivers a really tight, chunky sound with lots of harmonics. I use thicker strings (.052-.010) in Drop-D tuning, and the guitar sounds even better with the bigger strings. The tremolo action is smooth, although the bar doesn't stay put very well. That would be my only real complaint on this fast-playing, great-sounding machine.
I just picked up this guitar in red and WOW! not only does it have great playability but it also is very well put together and an absolutely gorgeous finish. This is by far the best sounding and coolest looking guitar i have ever owned and i have owned other guitars such as the more expensive ESP LTD EC-1000 and a Gibson Les Paul Classic. none compare to the beauty and feel of this guitar. The Active EMG 81/85s scream, the quilted maple top is flawless, the Floyd Rose bridge is killer, and it stays in tune no matter how much you dive bomb! this guitar is a keeper and i give it an 11 out of 10. the one draw back is a minor one and that is that when i tuned it up the strings buzzed like crazy, but not a problem. changing the strings to some Ernie Ball Super Slinkeys and raising the action a bit will fix that right up.
