This was the third guitar I ever had, and it was only meant to be a practice guitar. I never really recognized its quality until I took it home and played it. (For 6 hours! haha) I started using this guitar at many gigs, and its been through so much with me: scratches, scuffs, drops, strings RIPPED off the guitar... And this guitar plays EXACTLY as it did once I bought it. The EMGs are wonderful, they add a perfect tone to the guitar for those who like hard rock or metal. I highly HIGHLY recommend this guitar, whether it is a beginner or an expert. Its learning curve is almost nonexistant, and the value places it at one of the best deals for guitarists.

This was my 4th guitar (1st with EMG's) I got it because I wanted the EMG's, and they sound great. The neck is nice and thin and plays great, the EMGs scream, and the finish looks hot. My big complaint is the placement of the volume knob. Constantly hitting it with pick hand, and makes it hard to palm-mute the lover strings and not hit the knob.

Amazing

By David Perez

from South Gate California

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

I've had this model for about 2 years, and I really doubt that I would ever find another that's pretty well built like this. For the price, this is one of the best metal guitars you can get out there, but you can do so much more than play metal with this beast. The neck is really smooth and sleek, very easy to move up and down the neck. The EMGs are amazing as well, you can't go wrong. I like to play in many different tunings, and this guitar holds those tunings really well. The paint finish on it is beautiful as well, it always surprises me how great it looks when there's good lighting shining on it. If you have to choose between this guitar and another model, this one will not disappoint you.

Very solid guitar

By Mark Stevens

from Southern Maine

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

I had been looking for a guitar equipped with active EMG pickups for a while. I own a bunch of different guitars, everything from (on the high end), a Gibson Les Paul Standard to (on the low end) a $90 Kramer, with lots of stuff in between. American, Korean, Chinese, etc. I found the MH-350NT at GC and after about 1/2 hour of playing the guitar I knew that I really wanted to purchase it. At the $619 price, I wanted to go home and sleep on it-especially since it was only the day after Christmas. The next day I called GC to see if it was still there and to try to negotiate a better deal. As luck would have it, that morning they had marked it down to $499 clearance! It wasn't a B stock, they were just clearing guitars out for year end sales. I bought it over the phone immediately. The guitar itself has an extremely nice neck. Not too thin and the fret job is perfect. No buzz with very low action. The finish is flawless and jaw dropping. The pickups sound great and overall I am very very pleased with this purchase. Even my wife commented on how gorgeous it was when I brought it home. I highly recommend this guitar.

Should be called ESP BRUTAL-350NT

By Tom Johnson

from NJ

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

I was deciding between the EC 1000 , EC401, or the FX360 for a good quality giging guitar. I was in love with all those guitars cept their prices. the only problem was the FX360 wasn't in any stores around me. My philosophy is never buy something you haven't played/used. I walked into Sam ash and saw the 351 which is a newer version with a pure red finish. I loved the sound!..........Then I picked up this monster. The pickups turned my line 6 spider 4 75 watt into a mesa boogie rectifier!!!! The metal tone was so brutal and in ur face that i found myself double taking at the amp I was playing on! Its dead quit when not playing and the finish in the stock pic makes this look really bad but myn has more of a wood grain look and more black on the front and i couldnt believe the price!...Buy this guitar before you even think about the EC1000. I recorded both through a Marshall stack same settings and this has a more in your face sound that blows away that expensive thing.

Great Intermediate Guitar

By Austin Van Every

from Gainsville, Georgia

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

I started playing on a fender squire, which was a good guitar for a beginner, but not good enough for playing at church because the buzz was so bad. I went to guitar center in June looking for a step up guitar, more for live playing. i tried out as many guitars as i could in the store and this esp ltd mh-350 was by far the best. when i got home I was really able to experiment with the sound on my Peavey Artist vt series. From what i got was a very clear, rich sound. the highs are amazing and i can actually do pinch harmonics and the extra frets are nice. The emg pickups are indeed legendary. the 81 in the bridge position give the best sound under distortion and for me, the 85 plays great for clean. Unlike Les Pauls, this guitar is cut very well and is easy to play standing up. There is a place that is cut off just to allow access all the way to the 24th fret. The finish looks cheesy on this page, but in real life it is very cool dark brown with white binding on it. The back finish is black. Also if you are wondering if it stays in tune, it can keep a tune for a long time. the only thing i wish this guitar has, however, was a whammy bar. Overall very Impressive guitar!

Metal!!!

By Dillon

from Leoma,TN

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

This guitar is by far the best for the price. I played tons of guitars that cost 500 and 600 more and this one plays better. I mostly play metalcore like Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, All that Remains, and As I Lay Dying. This guitar is perfect for any metal and especially technical riffs. The smooth neck and comfortable body style allow you to play fast, technical riffs with ease. This guitar easily plays as good as it looks. The ripples in the finish are very detailed and make for an incredible look only ESP can create. The EMGs and through neck make for great tone for heavy distortion and thick cleans. I definately recommend this guitar to any metal or rock player. Ive owned it for about a month and a half and it lives up to the ESP name.

Do you want to play FASTER, MASTER, MASTER OF PUPPETS ARE...

By Chris

from Redlands, CA

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

This is a solid guitar if you are moving from a beginner guitar i.e Fender Squier to a move intermediate guitar AND if you like to play Rock or Heavy Metal this is your guitar. Better YET - if you are looking to play faster but just cant keep up consistently (that the key word) then this guitar is a must have! I'm a huge Metallica fan who is also playing more and more RUSH! Both bands are awesome and require different tones and set ups - however you can accomplish all of this in this one guitar. The thin U fret-board allows you to play fast and I believe the scale is actually smaller than other guitars which allows you to fly all over the neck with ease. Other features are easy tuning, solid picks ups, beautiful look and finish and light weight (wont kill your neck). The only con is that this guitar does not have a tremolo bar - which to me was no big deal and I knew that before I bought this guitar. I just bought this guitar today so maybe in a few more months I'll report back. But for now I cant keep my hands off this guitar!!!

BEST GUITAR ON THE MARKET

By Cory

from Minneapolis, MN

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350NT Electric Guitar:

I usually don't do reviews but I can't stop talking about this guitar!!! I was lucky to pick up a used one for $250 off craigslist and it plays better than the hellraiser I tried out!!! EMG's, neck-thru, mahogany body, enough said. And, it looks better than a lot of your higher-end models, personally this looks better than any Ibanez Prestige guitars. If you have the money or are saving around, look no further than this ESP.
