Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

One of the smoothest fretboards you could ever play on! I can't believe I got this guitar for only 700. It plays like it's worth at least 1300. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is just because it has some very small issues with buzzing and the bridge is not 100% steady. Nothing a little adjusting can't fix.

    More Guitar and Less Money

    By Casey Hall

    from Virginia Beach, VA

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

I wanted to upgrade from my current Ibanez guitar and had a budget of $1200. I spent 3 months reading reviews online and in magazines and then visited the local GC every Saturday trying out different guitars that I reviewed throughout the week. I kept coming back to the Black ESP LTD MH-350FR. Quite a few times the GC employees (who are awesome by the way) would offer to help and ask my budget and tell me I need to try the Fenders and Gibsons since I could afford one. Of course I did and they were great but so was the ESP and at half the price. So I have had this guitar for 3 months now and I love it. I had all intentions on spending every nickel of the $1200 on a kick butt beautiful guitar since that is what I saved it for. So if you are looking for a solid built guitar that sounds great this is it. Additionally: I can say I have never opened up a Gibson or Fender to see whats inside but the ESP is solid. I actually upgraded the Floyd Rose Bridge with a brass sustaine block, brass spring claw and heavy duty springs all from Floyd Upgrades.

    beautiful sound, best guitar

    By jay

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

(cant say I'm easy to please..) this is the greatest guitar I have ever played. the emgs deliver a monster sound and tone, and floyd rose is relatively perfect. although the floyd probobly isn't as good as the original, it hasn't gone out for me yet even with the most vicious dives and squeals. (it is a little persnickety at first, but after a good tuning with the fine tuners on the bridge it works like a charm) the sound is just stunning, sounding like a guitar many times more expensive. it is very light weight, too- far less that any fender or schecter. (even though I like schecter, too) the neck is very fast and comfy, and slides great. it isn't raw, but what ever it is it is faster than pure grain in my opinion. I looks stunning, too. (I got the trans. black) the whole thing is subtly wavy and textured- these pictures don't really do it any justice. the neck through really helps a lot- the sustain is great, and also as you shred in the upper register, the sound will really come through. in all, your search is over- best geetar ive played, and the price really cant get an better.

    Amazing Feel

    By Dylan Knowles

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

Out of all the guitars I played in store, this one stuck out the most. The higher frets are super accessible, the feel of the neck is super smooth. The sound quality is very good for this price range. The guitar looks amazing too, these pictures don't do it justice at all. It has a really nice weight, not too heavy, but still lots of body. The Floyd Rose is quite nice, even though it's not original. Wish it had 2 volume knobs. Clean sounds were pretty good despite the active pickups. Obviously the EMG's are amazing for hard stuff.

GREAT GUITAR FOR ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE!!

    By Aaron

    from Jenison,MI

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

I just bought this guitar tonight, i was apprehensive at first but then the guy at guitar center told me to go into the Loud Lounge and Jam before he left he told me to crank the amp all the way up. and this guitar played amazing. the neck has even the perfect feel even for my meaty fingers. The action is crazy natural harmonics are easy and the pinch harmonics ring like the liberty bell with sustain i cant get over, I've always been a Schecter guy myself but i tried this and played for 5 minutes and couldn't wait to get it home. The Floyd Rose is the best I've had yet. even if you don't like dealing with setting up the Floyd rose its all worth it in the end you can dive bomb like crazy and it stays perfectly in tune never drops flat at all. The humbuckers have crazy high output i feel this guitar is best used on a tube amp or a very nice solid state with at least 75W. but each to there own. The weight is nice cause it doesn't break your back after 15 minutes of playing. This is a guitar worth buying especially for the price. if your an intermediate guitar player or a very skilled one this is a great guitar, even if your a beginner and you've got the cash buy it don't hesitate no better way to learn than on a nice high quality guitar all the way around.

    Great Guitar

    By LTDFAn

    from Winona MN

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

I own the older version of this guitar know as the MH-250. The only difference between the 2 guitars was the pick-ups. I just ordered Seymour Duncan SH-8 invaders to replace the pick-ups it came with. Over I am very happy with the guitar it feels great to play. The tremel, while it may not be an original floyd the special does the job just as well. I had bought the guitar a little after I had started playing and didnt really know what I needed or wanted in a guitar. Now I am very happy with this guitar. There are a few very minor cosmetic defect like the inlays not all being the same size but something that small doesnt really matter to me. So in anycase i would say buy this guitar if your into rock or metal of any type, it looks great and plays great.

    Good Guitar

    By Eric V.

    from Oakland, Maine

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

I needed an intermediate guitar to step up from my beginner guitar. Overall I like this guitar much better for its sound quality and playability. It has nice active pickups and produces good lead tones and full sounding rythm tones. I also like the string locking feature which keeps the strings in tune after giving the whammy bar a workout. This system of string locking gives you tuning buttons on the bridge which can be used to tune strings up or down a half step or so. This guitar has 24 frets which I like better than my old guitar that had only 21. This guitar is good for rock and metal, and has the capability of producing good hard, tight tones. Also the clean sound suprised me, and made this guitar more versilte than I previously thought. One thing I don't like about this guitar is some times low note power chords sound a little muddy under distortion. Also the bridge makes it a little hard to palm mute the strings, but not to badly. Overall, this guitar has good intermediate features and is a good sounding step up for an intermediate player. I would reccomend this guitar.

    A great guitar!

    By Derek F.

    from Abilene, TX

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

I stopped by Guitar Center and after trying several guitars, including the Ibanez Xiphos, Epiphone Les Paul standard, Dean Vendetta, Ibanez Art100, Schecter Omen, and Kirk Hammett's Sig Guitar. This guitar, the ESP LTD MH-350FR was by far the most comfortable guitar and best sounding, behind the Ibanez Xiphos. And, it is just a beautiful guitar. I got it in the See thru black, and the see thru effect is not as visible in person, its mostly a nice full black with slightly visible dark ripples. It also has EMG pickups which sound great. I personally would recommend this to rock and Metal players, but it sounds great with cleaner settings as well. I am a late-intermediate player and this guitar is great for intermediate or advanced level playing.

    More than its worth

    By Jake

Comments about ESP LTD MH-350FR Electric Guitar:

I was at guitar center one day passing time on a rainy day and i played a few ltds and as usual i was impressed, but after playing a jackson rhoads i saw this guitar and didnt look at the price tag, i sat down and plugged into a peavey vypyr. i was amazed with this guitar, it has a very wide range of highs and lows thanks to the emgs, the neck also makes it easy for legato and staccato riffs, it is also beveled where the neck meets the body so you are able to get to the higher frets. this guitar is very well put together, not to mention it has a very nice flamed maple top and white binding. the painted neck is also nice, this guitar plays better than many guitars twice its price, i was amazed when i saw that this guitar was only 600$.
