Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

My wife and I have a number of guitars to pick from when we're playing at home including a Gibson Les Paul Gary Moore, a Fender Strat and a couple of Schecter Hellraisers. Due to back injuries, I wanted a good guitar that was lighter in weight than the guitars we already owned. After a little research I decided on this ESP LTD which I ordered from the GC store in La Mesa, CA. When I got it home and started playing it though, I was amazed how well it felt, played and sounded for a relatively inexpensive and lightweight instrument. After owning and playing it now for several months, this has become my automatic go-to guitar in the house when we sit down to play - even on good days when my back isn't bothering me. A definite winner.

Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

This ESP LTD is my third guitar that I own, and also my first ESP LTD guitar, and ESP makes some wicked awesome guitars that don't only look awesome, but also have a very nice tone to them as well(Especially with the string-thru body). This guitar is very comfortable and has very good tone to it and has a nice action to it as well, and with the 24 XJ(Extra Jumbo) frets, and the 25.5 scale length, playing this guitar is very simple to play any style of music, from relaxing reggae, to heavy metal and deathcore this guitar is very well made and the neck profile, is VERY VERY comfortable and good for someone who plays fast and speedy and sweep picking is a breeze. Overall, the ESP LTD MH-100QMNT is a very well-built guitar and is good for any style of music

Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

Really quite nice. Changing strings soon to a custom light and hoping for increased presence. When younger, I had some really great guitars. For the money, this is a very nice guitar. For more money, this is a very nice guitar. I am considering a push pull switch with phase reversal for increased versatility. No complaints at all.

A Really Fun and Quality Guitar for the Money

Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

I have had this guitar for about a month and a half and am very pleased with it. I believe ESP/LTD, like Schecter, is a company that tries to give you a lot of quality for the money. Unlike my Schecters, it wasn't completely playable out of the box (I got one still in the box, never been touched), but I was impressed with the quality of the light-weight build (it has a very light feel), the action, the high-quality D'Addario strings, and how the stock pickups are really better than most. I even thought the model number of the guitar inlaid at the 12th fret was a nice touch. The finish is SWEET! (I have the "reindeer blue," which is actually an accurate name, since it looks like the Northern Lights in the Arctic Circle in June--kind of like those iridescent shirts and ties that were popular in the 80s and early 90s that looked blue at one angle in a certain light and purple at another angle in a different light. It feels GREAT to play and really fun--I have a hard time putting it down--it's probably my second favorite guitar of my collection of 8 right now. The superior quality strings give a clear ringing tone to the type of clean, minimal distortion music I generally do, but also can scream quite well when pressed to. I would highly recommend it. I use this guitar for both recording and performance, as well as some practice and composing.

Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

This guitar is awesome. It plays so nice and smooth. The jumbo frets rock. The slim neck is fast. The sound is just amazing. I had purchased a Les Paul Epiphone Les Paul Special II but they are uncomfortable when sitting down and the distortion is a bit muddy. Not with this. Very comfortable and light. Distortion is great. Cleans are good too. I'm an intermediate guitarist who just plays at home. But this guitar can fit a lot of different sounds which is why I like it so much. Perfect for the hobbyist.

very nice nearly pro level guitar

Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

I have been playing guitar for about 35 years. I have owned many different guitars and never seem to stick with one for long. But this is a really nice guitar well built and good for most styles of music. This is a keeper. This is on par with many of the fender strats I've owned. The reindeer blue is purple. It's purple because esp/ltd reindeer blue is supposed to be purple. Other reviewers seem to think esp/ltd got the color wrong but it's the reviewers who are misinformed. As for the one reviewer complaining about missing strings and dents on the guitar, send it back. My guess is you ordered it had it delivered to your home. It was likely a demo from a store not sent from the dc that's why it was packed poorly. Pay attention when you order. I order my stuff on line for store pick up. That way I can try it, make sure everything works correctly. I can usually get a free set up (if needed) just by being nice and asking. Anyway this is one hell of a guitar it's the one everybody wants to play when they come over. The pickups are standard esp 150's. Nice with similar tone to gibsons 490 series pickups. They have the warmth and growls you would expect. The volume and tone knobs actually make a difference. The black hardware looks great. tuners work well, smooth and hold a tune. Can't think of any player who would not like this guitar.

Comments about ESP LTD LMH100QMNT Quilt Maple Top Electric Guitar:

I traded in some gear so I could get a new guitar today. I wanted a Jackson, fender or schecter. I saw this guitar online before, but seeing it in person it looked even better. I thought it has to play awful for this price, but I was soooooo wrong. This guitar, "I have the reindeer blue", plays better than guitars I have that are over 600 dollars. The playability of this guitar fits me perfectly. The people at G.C. are so awesome, they were exceptionally helpful. I was even more excited because I walked out of the store with this guitar & a couple of hundred bucks to play with. I love U Guitar Center.
