Features: you can't go wrong with the set neck, dual humbuckers, and tremolo. The guitar looks great from the style to the fretboard.Quality: This is where the problem is. I know it is not an expensive guitar, but in this price range, I can pick up an ibanez or fender of much better quality. Just feels cheap with minor imperfections.Value: Good value. Again, for the price, where are you going to find set neck and EMG humbuckers?Overall: I wanted to give this guitar a better rating, but the quality issues prevent me from doing so. I think the problems are in manufacturing, not design, so perhaps a little work in the factory is in order.

AMAZING GUITAR!!!!

By Stephen Bertram

from San Marcos CA

I just bought this guitar yesterday, though the one i got was custon the only diffference is that is is all one body and the fret board has a great design. This guitar i would reccoment to guitarists that have been playing for about a year. Thats how long i have been playing. The guitar is the most amazing thing you will ever invest in. The price is amazing and the guitar is better then any guitar i have ever played. Get this guitar if you NEED a good guitar. The look, EMGs everything about it makes it amazing. PS. GET THE WARRENTY!!! i just droped it about an hour ago... it shattered everywhere, but i have the warrenty.

A Beauty

By ElliE

from Albuquerque, NM

I just got this guitar a couple months ago, and she is amazing. It's only problem is that, like with all floating trems, it's a pain in the neck to tune. Besides that, this axe is awesome. Great action and tone, good for rock and metal, but does pretty nicely on clean stuff too. Solid hardware and nice finish and inlays. Not too heavy, and sweet upper neck access. I'd recommend it for any intermediate player or for a 2nd or 3rd guitar.

Beastly Guitar!

By Jedrick Fossati

from Belton, Missouri

This is an amazing guitar! I took it home and fell in love the second I plugged it into my amp. it fits comfortably in your lap or hanging on your neck. The whammy bar is an aweswome feature. I played on this guitar at my first gig and I haven't touched my acoustic since. I would definitely recomend this guitar to beginers or even those who have been playing for somme years. the only thing I don't like about it is that its a pain to tune. but it stays in tune for a long time so its not that big of a problem. All in all this is a great guitar.

In Love.

By Serenity. Oh, you mean me? Ellie.

from Albuquerque, NM.

I got this beauty for christmas this year, and she is one hell of an axe. I was anxious to check out the Floyd Rose, having never used one before, and it has become my favorite feature. I haven't changed the strings yet, but the Floyd hasn't thrown her out of tune at ALL, like I had been worried about. Amazing sound for metal and hard rock, but she could do anything, sounds awesome on clean, with lots of control with the toggle and coil tap. I'm playing her through a 15-watt Line 6 Spider III with a DigiTech MetalMaster and Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah. Epic body shape (I love the neck-through construction, so slick) and nice low action, feels just right for me. I've had her for about two weeks now, not a flaw in sight. I love the shape of the headstock, and the F-250 12th fret inlay is like a finishing touch. Nice and lightweight, won't weigh you down like some B.C. Rich's I've tried. Worth every cent.

Great!!

By Paul

from El Cajon, Ca

This guitar personally is great. the trem can take such a beating without screwing up the system. This guitar is perfect for any person who wants excellent sustain and great control. THe funny thing is even when you turn to a clean setting on your amp it still retains some distortion. This guitar is very comfortable and comes with all the gear needed to tune it, unlike some guitars. The sound is perfect for any types of music, i've played soft rock all the vay to metalcore and it still has great sound. Another thing is, if you are into it, it has some metallica undertones especially in palm mutes. It is pretty easy to tune but if you are a beginner read the manual to be safe.

Decent Guitar

By Brian-rmYUa

from Ohio

I owned this guitar at one time for about 3 or 4 years. I traded it with a couple hundred dollars for an epi les paul custom. -great trade by the way. Just as good as a Gibson, no doubt. The f250 that I had was an earlier model and it had the different EMG-HZ pickups in it. The new ones are most definitely an upgrade and I wish the model I had came with those ones. Over all though its a pretty good guitar but honestly it's probably worth spending a couple more bucks on a guitar with the active EMG 81/60 pickups. The ones on this guitar are a little more noisy. This guitar is worth the money though.

beautiful

By Frank-_GDBK

from Stationed in Madrid Spain

So I bought this because I actively started playing again, all I can say is this guitar is beautiful, I have it in black and it came to me flawless. Intonation was almost spot on except for one string, neck was perfect, floyd rose was parallel to body. I was skeptical about the floyd rose due to some bad experences on a few guitars I have had, but this one actually changed my mind. pickups scream, sustain is perfect, plays better then alot of high dollar guitars I have had. for the money it cannot be beat

This Is A Really Good Guitar

By jmbullet

from Drummondville, Quebec, Canada

I've wanted this guitar for 2 years before I finally bought it a week ago. I simply fell in love with it. It sounds awesome, looks awesome, and ever since I got it I can't put it down. The pickups sound really good, and I haven't had trouble with the Floyd Rose yet. I read a lot of reviews that said it wasn't good, but I guess if you don't over-use it, it won't let you down. Definitly a good guitar.

Lucky Buy

By Ruhiel Marquis

from Odessa, TX

The first time I ever laid eyes on this guitar it was instant infatuation. That was 2 years before I could finally have one of my own. The first thing that caught my attention of course was the radical body design, a bit of a gothy twist on an otherwise generic super-strat style. But it was only until I read a review on the PRE-2004 model that I really started to look at it as more than eye candy, like a beautiful woman who you just found out can play better than you! Ah ha, so after much online searching I finally found one for a steal of a price, lo and behold not only was it a pre-04 model, but already had the EMG 81/85 set up! What luck can that be right? The neck was fast, smooth, and the perfect thickness/thinness for me, plus the Neck-thru is an awesome little feature for some serious sustaining. The Xtra jumbo frets are great for my lengthy fingers, and the pick-ups, oh the pick-ups :D if you're familiar with EMGs 81/85 set up I needn't say more. And surprisingly the Licensed FR bridge doesn't go out of tune as easily as people make it sound, or at least not mine, and I don't find changing strings or major changes in tuning all that difficult or inconvenient in the slightest, but that's just me. I actually play this guitar a lot more than my '74 Gibson LP Custom! I absolutely love it. LTD may be ESP's more affordable branch, but it's products are just as high quality.
