Simply Amazing

By Richard F.

from Thomaston, GA

Comments about ESP LTD EX-401 ELECTRIC GUITAR:

I just bought this guitar a couple weeks ago. This guitar is absolutely amazing. The EMG's sound so awesome. I find that chords are easier to play on this guitar then they were on my Starcaster. I play alot of metallica, and this guitar is just perfect for this kind of music. If you like metal, this guitar is what you want, trust me. The only complain I have so far is that the E and A string buzzed quite a bit, but I fixed that by raising the action slightly. If you are considering buying this, dont hesitate, you will NOT be dissapointed. If anything were to happen to my EX-401, you can be sure im going to get another one.

Its an okay guitar

By Dominick L.

from West Caldwell, New Jersey

Comments about ESP LTD EX-401 ELECTRIC GUITAR:

I bought this guitar because it had alot of the things i loved in a guitar: Mahogany Body EMG 81/60 Rosewood Fretboard Grover tuners Explorer Well, i was looking for a guitar like that at the time, and found one at a nice price. The factory strings sucks, of course. But that is expected. The action on this guitar is very low and buzzy and it is slightly out of intonation. With nice solid bends, the Gstring goes out of tune easily. I now load this thing with 11s and C# tuning. It handles it well. It's tone is very nice and warm. The cleans are nice and clear but the gain is what i play it for. Its a nice guitar. You get what you pay for

great buy

Comments about ESP LTD EX-401 ELECTRIC GUITAR:

after i got the guitar setfor-up like i do with any guitar, the sutain was great it could hold the note for a good 30 secounds. the pickups are just what i expect from EMG. stays in tune and holds alternate tuning very well, i use .012 gauge strings for low tunings. it doesnt have two volume so i cant have them at 0 and 10 to make a killswitch type sounds but thats very minor. the price is greatespecially for a player past beginner level.

In Love

By CLAUDE BONANNI

Comments about ESP LTD EX-401 ELECTRIC GUITAR:

Well, i picked this thing up about a week ago used at guitar center and all i gotta say is that im in love. The feel of it is just fantastic, the action is nice and low but it doesn't produce any fretbuzz like my other guitar. The neck is like a dream. Stays in tune very well. The emgs in it are amazing. The 81 in the bridge is perfect for blasting out those intense metal riffs, so vibrant yet so evil. The 60 in the neck has that good ole Metallica clean tone. The 60's don't really sound so great with distortion though. White is so much sexier than black in person btw. This shape looks much better in person too. pictures dont do it justice.
