The ESP LTD AX-260 is not an electric guitar for the timid. The LTD AX-260 features a set-thru 3-piece mahogany neck, an agathis body, rosewood fretboard, and string-thru tail. A fierce body shape that looks like it just flew up from the netherworld, beveled edges, and custom tribal inlays show the crowd you came to rock! The thin U-shaped neck and 24 extra-jumbo frets keep you shredding with ease. The thick tones and killer sustain from dual LH-301 humbuckers will march your diabolical rhythms right into the heart of thrashdom.
Upper tail horn has strap button; lower has cable jack.

I am a huge fan of ESP as it is. This guitar is probably the perfect equilibrium of price and performance. Not only stocked with EMG pickups, and the coil tap is an amazing addition. Nice body, perfect for thrash metal (pickups catch every light tap) no flaws found, and i have looked. All in all, best buy i have made in a long time.
this guitar has amazing distortion sounds and an ibanez clean tone but for passive pickups this guitar is a must have for rockers its very versitle its a little heavy but the way it sounds its great... i play on a vox valvetronix and those two together are monsters when it comes to playing rock it has perfect sound if you like disturbed killswitch bands like those... its an all around its a good guitar
i dont know wat the guy that submitted before me was talkin about because this guitar does not have emg brand pick ups they are esp LH-301 set pickups in it so he probably doesnt have this guitar just pointin out the obvious so ppl dont buy the guitar for emg pickups and then be disappointed
This guitar is awesome. Ive had it about a month now and have had no problems with it. This is the perfect guitar for the price, the neck is awesome, it looks cool (just dont expect the tribal inlays anymore), and the pickups are pretty sick for passives. It gets a good clean sound too. I play it through a Line 6 Spider III and it sounds great. I play in a band and have even used it for recording and it sounds great. I just turned 13 so i dont have much money, but this was a great use of my savings. If youre debating buying it, dont, it great
