i got this guitar bout a year ago, used from my local GC. all i can say bout the price is, IT WAS A STEAL!!!. the sound on this beast, was well, beast!! the condition was nearly mint, minus a few dings on the back, the tone knob was loose, nothing a little work couldn't fix. one of the locking nuts was missing, but they replaced it at GC. now, the sound on this 24 fret monster is amazing, the bridge delivers exactly what i want, and no matter how low i put my drive on my line 6 spider 3 15 watt, this guitar can still make it sound deadly. the neck pickup lacks a little when played through distortion, but thats just age on my guitar. the floyd rose is perfection, never goes out of tune, only when i go to hard and my hand moves the fine tuners. ESP made a great guitar and put it out there for a REALLY amazing price, i would still buy this guitar at the new price, but i got mine for a steal, im happy with this beast! when you see this guitar at a GC, GET IT! DONT WAIT, GET IT NOW!
Sweet neck design, feather light relief, and gut-busting pickups perform better than expected for the price. For the intermediate musician, this is plenty of guitar for the party scene, the club, or even the stage. Well crafted knobs and switch, solid neck and bridge designs provide great quality for the price paid. I still don't love the tuning lock design when it's time to change strings, but I'm sure I will get used to it after while. Needless to say, The Guitar Center provides fast efficient service, and they always stand readily behind anything they sell.
i'v had his guitar for about a month now and i must say it is a great guitar. the axe has 24 jumbo frets and they are easy to reach. it has a great tone to it and the action is fantastic. the pickups are decent but i swapped them with seymour duncan invaders so with the floyd rose special the guitar kicks so much ass. the mh50 is very light weight at 7 lbs. this guitar is fantastic for tapping and playing all sorts of metal music. i highly reccomend it to a guitarist on a small budget.
