  • Great Guitar

As reviewed by Jeff on 5/9/2011

So I've had this guitar for around 6 months, and it is a great guitar. It feels great to play, it has a good, comfortable shape and it is very pretty. I have one complaint (but this is just personal preference.) I do not like the placement of the 2nd pickup, it is a pain to get used to at first, and it doesn't produce as much of a deep, bassy tone as neck pickups do. It is still good, it could just be better.

  • ESP LTD Stephen Carpenter 7 String Baritone Review

As reviewed by Chris on 6/15/2010

A terrifc guitar for it's price. I'll start of with the flaws of this guitars, if there are any. The intonation on the high strings were somewhat messed up, but that is an easy fix and wasn't a big problem. Besides that, I guess I could say that the guitar was a little dusty from the arrival. Not suprised though, it's been from one state to the next. As for the +'s, this guitar is extremely comfortable. It's my first 7 string and the transition from 6 to 7 was a piece of cake. The neck feels great, even though I prefer an ebony freboard. Being a baritone, the cleans of this guitar are very good. You would think the EMG's would make the cleans muddy, but it sounds great. Last but not least, it's diverse. I use it mainly for writing in my band, Vilarika, which consists of metal music. But, this guitar could definetly perfom well in any genre you could think of!

  • Nice Pickups.

As reviewed by Death Metal Jenkins on 3/28/2011

I was sadly disappointed with the guitar's resonance for being a neck thru guitar. I thought I was playing a bolt-on.
