This guitar was an early one for me, and despite that its extremely cheap price inevitably leads to some structural weaknesses, I greatly enjoyed playing this guitar. The neck is ridiculously fast and smooth to play on, and the pickups provide a pretty good tone for the price. Also, love how lightweight the guitar is, but I'm pretty sure the neck's strength/durability suffers as a result- I can flex it in casual play. Though the M-53's price is extremely competitive, I would recommend a low-end Epiphone or Ibanez model; in my experience, models of equal or superior quality can be found at your local Guitar Center for a similar price.
i bought this guitar about 3 years ago and I love it! The neck is very smooth and fast to play on, the pickups sound good for the price! I like how this guitar is light and easy to take with you also...I havnt had any durability problems with it yet! If your looking for a great bargain guitar this is it!
