I bought this guitar two months ago and I love it. The FR bridge is a little hard to set up at first, but once you get it right it performs amazing. I choose this guitar to play metal, but it surprised me the sound that you can also get in clean mode. Great for soloing and rhythm. Try this one. You won't find such a guitar for this price.
Well let me just say that this guitar is awesome, and especially for the price! I did my research before I purchased this baby and WOW it is better than I imagined. the stock pick ups sound awesome going through my Raven rg100, which is also amazing, and my boss MT2 Metal Zone pedal. Having a FR is a trem that you either love it or hate it, and I love it. This is my first Floyd Rose equipped guitar and the only thing I had trouble with was moving up to an .10 gauge set if strings but some stronger springs cleared that right up. The neck feels great and comfortable. Ah and the finish on this beauty can only be seen first hand. I looked up some pics on the internet and thought it would be eh aight i guess but I came to a conclusion.. no camera can capture the true look of it, its even better than I thought it would be. And If you are actually reading these reviews i dont have to tell you how much a steal this is!! Guitar Center practically gave it to me!! Overall better than expected and I had high expectations for this beast.
I bought one of these a week ago and I am very glad I did! I pretty much knew that I wanted this guitar even before I walked into GC from reading the reviews. High quality guitar all the way, comparable to other guitars $600 to $1000! The neck and action are perfect, didn't have to adjust the truss rod at all. I lowered and leveled out the Floyd Rose a little and intonated, this thing stays in perfect tune! Setting up a Floyd is to be expected when you buy any guitar with a floating trem... If you don't know how to do it then you need to learn or get a fixed bridge because it's all part of the game! The stock pickups are good but not quite what I like so I put DiMarzio Breed pickups in it and Shazam! The guitar looks awesome too! This guitar is 100% quality and tone is over the top! I have been playing guitars for 30+ years and this is one of the best guitars I have ever owned and I have owned just about everything...! $300 is a steal!
