The ESP LTD Deluxe MH-1000 QTNT electric guitar features a set-thru maple neck, mahogany body with gorgeous carved quilted maple top, and a rosewood fretboard. Set-thru neck construction is an innovative technique in which the neck is glued to the body (like a set neck), however the traditional bulky heel is carved away (similar to neck-thru-body construction). This makes access to the ESP MH-1000 QTNT's upper frets and the neck-to-body transition much smoother. Just as on a set neck, you will get a combination of tone from both the neck and body with the set-thru construction. The sound will depend on the types of wood used, but generally will have a fuller, warmer tone when compared to most neck-thru-body electric guitars.The thin, U-shape with 24 extra jumbo frets provides comfort and speed.
A Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge and a '59 at the neck provide plenty of power and note definition. ESP's locking tuners and a TonePros TOM bridge keep you tuned and intoned, so you'll sound your best. Volume, tone and a 5-way toggle give you the best of simplicity and versatility. Black nickel hardware, offset abalone block inlays and white with abalone purfling finish off its stunning look.
