I own two other 7-string guitars and this one tops them both! I have an older Ibanez S with the crappy Lo-Trs trem that I had blocked off because it wouldn't stay in tune if used. My other guitar is an LTD SC-607B. This is a great guitar but pretty bare bones as far as features (and slightly more cumbersome to play because it's a baritone scale at 27"). I was looking to get another 7-string that has a good trem that will stay in tune. I own an LTD M-1000 which has the 6-string version of the Floyd Rose 1000 series and I beat it hard and it absolutely WILL NOT go out of tune! When I saw ESP was releasing this new H-1007 with this trem I HAD to try it. It looks, plays, and feels like a dream! As I was hoping, the Floyd Rose 1000 kept in tune after some abuse. Setup and intonation were spot on. The EMG pickups have wonderful clarity although I have never been much for using them when playing clean but it's not a big deal because I spend 99% of the time in overdrive! I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful guitar. I'm especially happy to see a 7-string being offered in something other than black. To me, this is a bit more of a "mature" looking guitar with the see-thru finish. Fantastic guitar all around!
