  • Worth Every Dollar

As reviewed by Alejandro lozano on 4/2/2011

I had been saving up money for around 2-3 years, I was looking for a Gibson Les Paul Studio, but i tried out this one... I must say I was impressed and I decided to continue saving up for this guitar, to me it blew the gibson out of the water... It is very light, the neck is very comfortable, it is worth every dollar, the EMG's just get every sound I want, even clean... if you want a real good guitar, buy this one, you wont regret it, it has made me play around 8 hours or 9 in a day and no, I dont get bored, it is just plain beauty

  • Good Amp. Great Value

As reviewed by BrokenFighter on 3/23/2010

This amp is good, if you get a good one. I have played three of theses amps. Mine is very good, sounds great, the other two I played at a store sounded horrible. Honestly, the distortion on this amp is not great, but I use pedals for distortion anyways so this has never been a problem. The tuner is so-so. Its not extremely accurate, but it enough to get you close to being in tune. This amp is great for the local jazz band I play in. It can get a great, smooth bass sound, and the reverb is nice and warm. I have not found any use for the delay, it seems pretty useless too me. My biggest complaint is the lack of a 1/4" line out. I have needed that several times to be mixed in to a monitor system. You can get nice rock and metal tones out of this amp if you are willing to spend the time messing with it, and to invest in some good distortion pedals. This amp is a great value, there are better amps out there, but none anywhere near this price range.

  • Pretty nifty indeed

As reviewed by Jakeeee on 7/8/2009

unlike Leffster1, as an owner of a $2500 les paul not including the blackout pickups and better tuners ive put on, to say this guitar plays better or sounds better then one is something im gonna have to strongly disagree on, and its kinda funny how gibson has set the standard so high people rate guitars as being better or worse then a les paul. but enough about gibson, i do not own this guitar, but for the last couple weeks i've made this the guitar i find when i wanna test an amp or a pedal ext. and i've been nothing but impressed, the guitar has great playability for the price range and a good sound that can take any musicians music to the next level, the guitar was thin and light ohh and not to mention the guitar has a great look to it :] all in all if your looking for the best guitar in this price range you found it
