Product Information

The H4A uses an Alnico 5 magnet for a pronounced mid-range and fat top end. With plenty of punchy tone, it's perfect in the bridge position for the player who wants to rock. The H4A is the perfect guitar pickup for blues or in combination with the H4 pickup, as is used on Epiphone's Zakk Wylde "Bullseye" Guitar. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire Quik-Connect™ output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

A great sounding pickup with the EMG looks!

After about a year, the bridge pickup on my Epiphone Les Paul started to sound muddy, and I wanted to replace it. I liked the look of EMG pickups but didnt need the active performance. This pickup was the perfect medium. The first time I played it, I knew I had gotten my money's worth. It sounded 100 times better than my stock pickups ever would. It had much more clarity without distortion and gives a powerful crunch with it. The ultimate passive pickup!

its good

well i bought this pickup about 2weeks ago and it was a smart buy. its got great clarity and sustain. Its got all the power of a regular emg and played by many other players such as Alexi Laiho and Zakk Wylde. my Only problem with it is that u CAN NOT touch it or else it makes a terrible buzzing noise, and beleive me its annoying. However its still a great pickup but if u have an active guitar stick with it.

Awesome Pickups

So i just installed this emg pickup in my LTD m-10 and my guitar explodes! I decided to place it on the bridge to give it a good rhythm sound. It is loaded with distortion, in other words, you will love it. I play through a Peavey Vypyr 30watt amp and it just sounds sick. My LTD has never sounded better.

Amazing sound for a decent price

EMG pickups are some of the best I have ever played on. If you want range with your sound, the EMG H4A is the way to go without a doubt. Gibson cost more, but you're paying for the brand name. If you want a quality item that will not let you down, purchase this pickup. It's perfect for any style of music, especially rock and is durable. So it will last you many an rambunctious crowd while you give them what they want to hear. It's a quality item!!!
