      EMG H4A Passive Humbucker (308007)
Availability:

The H4A uses an Alnico 5 magnet for a pronounced mid-range and fat top end. With plenty of punchy tone, it's perfect in the bridge position for the player who wants to rock. The H4A is the perfect guitar pickup for blues or in combination with the H4 pickup, as is used on Epiphone's Zakk Wylde "Bullseye" Guitar. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire Quik-Connectâ„¢ output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

  • A great sounding pickup with the EMG looks!

As reviewed by Forde Ripich on 6/24/2008

After about a year, the bridge pickup on my Epiphone Les Paul started to sound muddy, and I wanted to replace it. I liked the look of EMG pickups but didnt need the active performance. This pickup was the perfect medium. The first time I played it, I knew I had gotten my money's worth. It sounded 100 times better than my stock pickups ever would. It had much more clarity without distortion and gives a powerful crunch with it. The ultimate passive pickup!

  • Awesome Pickups

As reviewed by Bryan on 1/16/2010

So i just installed this emg pickup in my LTD m-10 and my guitar explodes! I decided to place it on the bridge to give it a good rhythm sound. It is loaded with distortion, in other words, you will love it. I play through a Peavey Vypyr 30watt amp and it just sounds sick. My LTD has never sounded better.

  • Great, Awesome, And some other good name

As reviewed by Michael on 12/9/2010

These emg pick ups are the first pick ups i ever tried out and not the last, thats for sure. I put these bad S,O,Bs on the bridge of my Xcort X-2 series gutar and man these things are like viagra for the guitar, the sound was "enhanced"!!! these things are great and the quality is good because i was suprised by the sustain on it and the clarity. EMG pick was made for metal and pretty much nothing else. I recommend these for show!!!
