Reverse delay and violin bow-like effects in the palm of your hand.

Use the EBow Plus rather than your pick, and create awesome synth effects. A small electrical charge sets up an energy field, vibrating the string giving you limitless sustain until you pull it away. The tiny, 9V-battery-powered PlusEbow replaces your pick, letting you mimic strings and synths and create outlandish sounds beyond any instrument.

The Plus EBow lets you play as fast as your left hand can scurry through a lick. Fade a string in from a motionless state for a reverse-tape effect. Run the EBow across the strings for gorgeous arpeggios. Add distortion for a screaming guitar sound. Playing the PlusEBow directly over the pickup will increase your volume and give you the crisp sound of super hot pickups. Moving away from the pickup gives you the mellow sound of a hollowbody electric. The sounds you discover by experimenting with the EBow will amaze you. And like the best tools of the trade, the EBow will sound different for each musician.

EBows have been used on countless records by some of the biggest names in music. Isn't it time you put it to work in your act?

  • Great piece of equipmwnt

As reviewed by Skydog4393 on 12/15/2008

I remember the EBow when it first made it's appearance in the mid-to-late 70's. I had tried a friend's, but never did buy one back then. What I can say is that the EBow Plus is definitely a superior model, especially with the 2-way switch for straight and harmonic mode. It really makes the guitar a whole new instrument for me and I can't wait to record with it. It'll take a bit of practice to master, but what doesn't. I think that any guitar player who wants to experiment with his or her sound should buy one of these little devices. It'll take your sound to the next level. The price is reasonable too. Now how many things can you say that about nowadays.

  • Shoking to say the least

If your gonna use this little charmer Make damn sure all your equipt is grounded to a common junction somewhere as if you have the Ebow in one hand and happen to touch any other piece of electrified gear, Itll knock you on your butt! especially watch your mike and stands if you have a powered mic. Youll learn a few new dance steps otherwise!! Sounds cool but takes a lot of getting used to I have a bolton neck strat and tele and it doesnt seem to perform well with this effect

  • Violin on guitar

As reviewed by matt1 on 9/27/2006

This great little device expands your guitar's sound capabilities. It's great for making your guitar sound like a violin. I love using it for live shows with intros because the sound is just so different than any other guitar effects. Really easy to use and once you master it you will be incredibly impressed with the possibilities.
