The LA460 combines EAW's Virtual Array Technology with the LA concept. By horn-loading both the mid- and high frequency subsystems, the LA460 provides 60 degrees horizontal coverage over a wide frequency range. The LA460 is a 3-way full range system in a trapezoidal enclosure. It includes a vented 15" woofer, a horn-loaded 8" midrange cone, and a 1.4" exit/1.75" voice coil compression driver on a 60 degrees x 45 degrees constant directivity horn. The powering mode is switchable: full passive or bi-amplified with a passive low/mid crossover.
