I've had this interface for a while now and have had absolutely no problems with it. I originally purchased a similar interface from M-Audio, but found that it was incompatible with my Yamaha P-150 keyboard. This cable works with it flawlessly. Also, some people report that you have to reverse the input and output cables, but this is simply a misunderstanding. The plug labeled "MIDI IN" has to be placed in the MIDI OUT port of your device because the MIDI data travels INTO the device. Other interfaces' plugs are often labeled "to MIDI IN", which is probably the root of the confusion.
Purchased cable to use Casio CDP100 88 key as a midi controller. Works perfect, no delay. Using with Ivory Keys, TruePianos and Fruity Loops software. Insanely beautiful sound out of a cheap Casio! Full 88 key polyphony with proper piano software. Must use ASIO4ALL drivers to remove delay. Don't let the audiophiles tell you there is something wrong with this cord, it's fine for us single device midi users. (Had to hook up backwards for some reason, like many others.)
Great basic interface. Worked right away with both my computers, one uses Windows XP 64-bit, the other monster uses Server 2003 64-bit. No issues with Sonar 8 or Kontakt 4. You might need to reverse the inputs as others mentioned, but that is most likely they labeled them wrong. Great affordable product!!
