Since 1964, the Duracell brand has been a household name. This 4-pack of AA batteries will power everything from remote controls and portable CD players to tuners, metronomes, and much more.
These are the most reliable alkaline batteries I've found for my Boss RE-20. That thing is really hard on them, especially when going for heavy oscillation. I've had a couple of instances where cheap batteries actually ruptured and leaked inside that pedal. These Duracells seem to hold up fine, though.
I'm always out to save money, but when it comes to batteries, I find Duracells really last longer and are more reliable than the cheap alkalines you find at the store. When it is critical that i have reliable power, I don't trust the no name batteries, they are wildly unpredictable. Duracells have never failed me, so I'll pay more when needed.
