Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

these are the only picks I use. tried em when I was 15, and that was almost 30yrs ago, have never used any other picks since, these little guys allow for such accurate speed and terrific point pick playing its amazing, if your a soloist or metal player these are the picks for you. I burn through the tips of em alot though but I play harder then most. 1 pick will last a show or two

Tortex Jazz III style thin picks (red)

      By Jeff

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

These are hands down the best picks I have ever used. First time I used a Tortex pick was the Jazz III style thick pick (purple) and would not use anything else from that moment forward...Until I bought the other 2 thickness' in the same style. Now I switch between all 3 thickness' dependent on the song, but mainly use the thins. I play an acoustic with medium strings and really wail on it at times and the medium/thick picks shave down perfectly (through regular use) to my play style like a finely honed knife. The thin ones also shave down but do not last nearly as long as the other 2 which is expected. However I put a good hour or two a day of hard strumming on the thins and they last about a month which is more than I can say about any other pick I've used let alone a thin gauge pick. The best part about these picks hands down is "I DON'T DROP THEM"! Compared to a drop rate of a 100% of every other pick I've ever used that was not Tortex. And these Jazz III style picks nearly disappear between my thumb and forefinger and have a nice sharp tip that makes playing precise. These have heightened my ability to flawlessly switch between picking and strumming throughout a song. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who uses a pick, novice to pro.

      Fantastic little picks

      By ColtWanger

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

They feel a bit weird at first because they are smaller than standard picks, but they quickly grow on you. Great for tremolo picking and pinch harmonics. I was a big fan of the 1.14mm black Dunlop Tortex Jazz picks, but wanted a different color (black is hard to find when it gets lost). The heavies are the same thickness, woo!

      Sick picks

      By Drew

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

I love these picks they help me with shedding. And because they r kind of small its easy for pinch harmonics. A lot of metal players use these. I heard that kirk hammett uses one. Jazz picks are cool and unique picks.

      Pleased

      By Max

      from Las Vegas, Nevada

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

It's a small, sharp pick, and took me a week or so to get used to, but I prefer it over other picks I've tried so far, including the dunlop "sharp" picks (which are good). This pick feels very manageable to me. I like the "pluck" I get with it, very responsive. I think I tend to pick a little shallower with it, but just as hard, so I end up with cleaner playing. I'm using the heavy gauge version, mostly for the durability.

      TURTLES!!!

      By matt smith

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

Ive used these picks since the day ive started playing and they havent failed me ONCE! Dunlop is just amazing at what they do. The thing i realy like about these picks is the sharp point, it is great for picking VERY fast, especialy in solos. Another great factor is how thin you can geat them, i use the thin .73 picks and they give a great palm mute sound for playing realy heavy stuff. AWESOME!

      Simply the best!!

      By Keith

      from Seattle, WA

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:

I've been a speed metal player for almost 20 years, and can honestly say that this pick, by far is the best pick for any intricate playing style...hands down!! Whether it's fast soloing, complex jazz, bold blues playing, this pick is top notch, and I can never use any other type of pick other than the Dunlop Tortex or JazIII.
