This Dunlop Pro Curved capo does it's job, but when I put it on my guitar and adjust the capo to press all my strings down, I have to retune the guitar to the capo. Consequently, when I take the capo off, I have to retune the guitar again. If you don't mind spending a couple more dollars, I would highly suggest the Dunlop Trigger Capo. It fits right on the guitar and, from my experience, the guitar doesn't need to be retuned while using the capo, or after using the capo.

Great Capo at any price

By Richard E

from Menifee CA

As a professional guitar player I've used this capo for well over 20 years. I play Martin guitars and never have had any problems of them going out of tune as some complain of. This capo is easy to put on, quick to take off, easy to stick in my pocket or guitar case, and most important doesn't get in the way of my hand like most other capos. I use a Samson mic stand and it has a little built in thing to hold a pick. I find this capo fits it exactly. Great for on stage. Like everything else, these wear out and get loose, but they are usually good for a few years with heavy use and are very cheap to replace. I have tried every kind of capo known to man but keep coming back to this one.

good stuff

By Mel

I bought this capo because of its size and it's easy to store. It's a great little thing, it's gentle on the paint, and does what it needs to do. Great capo for the price. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic!

By Grant

This capo is great for the money! I got it at a guitar store and it really holds up. It was the cheapest capo there, and since I was getting my first one I picked this one. I also love the adjustable feature, it fits my acoustic guitar and my Squier. Great quality, would reccomend to anyone.

I bought this capo so that i could learn one song that required one. I read a lot capos scratching guitars and i was a little nervous at first, but I have no problems with this little capo and i would recommend it for anyone.

Great!

By Kenny P.

from Smeenix, AZ

This is a great little capo. i have used it for a bout a year now and it was worked just fine. It doesn't come loose or pop off like other capos in this category. Dunlop has always made quality products and this is no exception, it works perfectly for my Les Paul, Yamaha acoustic, and even my 12 string Mitchell. Not a single problem with it yet, but don't be afraid to put it on tightly, the tighter you have it on the better sound it makes, and the less probability it will pop off. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in a capo, not only because its great, but you can keep it in your pocket and its cheap.

No

By John

from Ayer, MA

Don't buy this. I love Dunlop, this is not good capo. first of all, the string loosens up and it won't stay the same length. As a capo, it works fine, until you touch it. If you so much as touch the capo, the whole thing opens up and falls off, while I'm playing. Dont buy it.

You get what you pay for

By peaveyman

from Ontairo Canada

i bought this capo about 2 years ago i never really used it until now and im very dissapointed in it. It holds the strings down nice and tight but when you clamp it down it bends all the strings up or down and puts you out of tune.

I bought this Dunlop Pro Curved capo due to the size and price. It's compact, easy to store and works as well as any other capos. No problem at all so far.
