I've tried many picks before including the big stubbies, gel picks, and the tortex picks. None of those, in my opinion, measure up to the standard nylons. I don't think I've ever dropped one, and never had one break on me (after about 2 years so far). My hands sweat when I play, so the gels and stubbies slip out of my fingers sometimes, but not the nylons. They stay firm in my hand. Of course, personal preference of thickness will vary, but I find these to be the best out of all the Dunlop family.

I have had previous experience with these textured, plastic picks felt that they would be great in the setting where my acoustic guitar is amplified and I am co-accompanying singers with a pianist. If you don't want your sound up-front and center, these are great. Instead of purchasing these and the .38's, I probably should had gotten ones a few thicknesses heavier since I don't hear or feel a significant difference between these and the former. I also would had preferred if these were offered as a bag of all available thicknesses.

    Superior performer

    By Jay Gould _

    from Hidden Valley Lake, CA

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

As a long time Fender pick user, I found these to be superior. No slipping with plenty of action. Also, long, long lasting. Took me forever to wear down the pick tip. I have never had one break. Would like more color differentiation in the various thicknesses so they can be quickly picked out on a dark platform.

The issue here is the great customer service and the picks

    By CHRIS CUTTER _ _

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

Dunlop makes great picks at a reasonable price. My tastes have morphed back to these thinner ones for my Fenders and Gibson axes. I use "10s", mostly for strings. The real comment is on the GC service. I ordered 6 dozen of these with a Hercules guitar stand (awesome) and later realized I did not have the picks. I called GC a couple of days later and they mailed them out to me within 3 days or so. Truth be told, once i got the new ones I realized I may have thrown out the other package by mistake. GC did not seem to care, they just wanted me satisfied. Class act, guys.

    Good Feel To It

    By Luis Valdivia

    from Bogota, N.J.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

This pick has a good feel and doesn't slip while playing guitar. The quality is good, I recommend these picks if you are trying to find a pick that makes a good tone, has a good feel, and make a good scraping sound on the strings. Best pick ever.

    Great Pick!

    By Caleb

    from Grand Bay, AL

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I've been playing the guitar for about 4 years and have always liked dunlop's collection of picks. I used to use the tortex but when a sales associate at GC had mentioned these to me, I thought I'd give them a shot. Since then I have been sold on these picks! The nylon hold up much better in my opinion. I have broken the tortex but I havn't broken one of these yet and Ive used these for months. I would not have to get more, I just tend to lose them more than most! I prefer the .60s because I still get the desired tone out of my electric AND acoustic that I want. Yet the pick is still thin enough to double pick for fast action, solos, and those quicker riffs. I play at my church and we play almost any style you can think of (besides metal), but I still like to play the heavier stuff in my own time! So they are excellent picks for any style that you would want to play. These picks will stay in your hand too. Anytime I've dropped these it has been something that i had done while NOT playing. Try these!! You can't go wrong!

    Dunlop Picks-The Best!

    By Alan

    from Houston, TX

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I've been using the Dunlop .73MM for over 4 years now, and let me tell you-I still have my first .73MM that I got.(It shrunk, but didn't break!) These will forever be my choice of picks and will be yours too. The grip is helpful in case you get sweaty hands or need to hold on to your pick for those fast runs or picking on guitar. Trust me: these picks don't break at all! Good news there! I recommend it!
