i have been playing for about 8 years (Everyday) and have tried many different kinds of picks. from the thin nylon to the heaviest jazz picks. the grip picks i used before chipped away too easily, disentigrated too quickly, or even out right didnt have a grip that stayed. i picked up a pack of these picks yesterday and already i am greatly impressed. these picks STAY PUT. nice non slip grip, and they hold up to the most aggressive/hard playing i could dish out. all around these picks are the kind you should have in your pocket/wallet. once you buy a set of these, you wont look back or be dissapointed.

I bought a dozen of the .73 a few months ago and they do wear ok but for me they have too much grip, after going through 2 picks I took a finger nail file to the rest of the pack to soften the grip. I could not move the pick in fingers like I wanted. So I went back to the standard .73 Dunlop nylon picks. I do have plans to try the tortoise .73 yellow picks in the future to see how they feel and wear.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

Back in the spring of 2013 I had heart by-pass surgery. Got a great ticker now, but a rather unpleasant side-affect was that my hands/fingers don't have the old level of natural moisture that allowed me to securely grip picks or drum sticks. "Regular" slick surface picks will spin around in my fingers, regardless of how firmly I grip them. I tried another textured pick without much improvement. Then I tried these ..... with great results! I play the mandolin with the 1.0's, and sometimes I'm strumming those 4 courses (8 strings) rather quickly. This pick stays in place in my slick fingers, much to my amazement. I'm very happy! If you have a similar problem buy these.

    Control, control, control...

    By Jeff Bigger

    from Hinsdale, IL

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

Normally I wouldn't get excited about a guitar pick...normally! These picks are without a doubt the best I've ever used. I've been playing for over 45 years and I've never had a piece of equipment affect my playing so much. It's like these things bond to your fingers but without any adhesive. I've been using Dunlop Tortex .60 mm (orange) for years and been fairly happy with them but lately I've been playing a lot of diverse stuff and don't have a lot of rehearsal time and especially when recording, I want to get it right in one or two takes. These picks are just what I need. I don't have to look to make sure it hasn't shifted around so I don't miss notes. I just can't say enough good things about these.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

My husband has used Nylon Dunlop Picks for his entire life. When he first held this pick, he fell in love. He had to have a metal plate put into his strumming hand 2 years ago and has struggled with his picks ever since. He hopes that the extra grip on these will alleviate some of his frustration.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

I went from 1.14's Tortex to these blue Dunlop 1.5's and I couldn't be happier. The nylon element as a pick material makes these picks slicker off the strings, and they are solid in their reflex return. Faster cleaner playing and they have almost no effect on string tone. They also have grippy nubs for greater gripping power. No more wasted time for me razor blading picks for grip. The only thing I don't like about them is the color. (Sad old navy blue) But this is the best pick I've used in years. Highly Recommend!

        Great... Just Great...

        By Adam S.

        from Minnesota

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

Believe it or not, I went to Guitar Center and ended up forgetting to bring my pick. One of the employee's was nice enough to give me a pick and it happened to be one of these. It was awesome not having to worry about the pick slipping out of my hand. I have used the Gator Grips and they don't provide anywhere near the stability and "stay-putness" of these wonderful picks. I assure you I'm not a Guitar Center employee writing this review to tell you to buy these. I'm an average Joe guitar player that enjoys the pick not slipping out of your hand in the middle of a song. I was given the 0.73mm pick and it was perfect. Perfection is among one of the dozen other words I could use to descrie this pick, but, only you can judge. So, go out and try them. I can't guarantee they will be good for you, but they are more than good enough for me. Peace.

        Awesome

        By Austin F.

        from Hammond,IN

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

The grip on these picks are amazing and helps keep good control in your pick attack. I personally use the 1.14mm because I'm a very tight-heavy guitar player. Also the contoured edge gives more advantage to your speed. But if Dunlop were to make a Max-Grip sharp point pick< this will probably become even more a popular and efficient pick for guitar and bass players of all styles.

Very "tacky" feeling pick, works well for butter fingers

        By BENJAMIN CHISHOLM

        from Houston, TX

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Guitar Picks - 12-Pack:

When I'm playing gigs, I tend to get hot and sweaty, and holding onto picks becomes difficult. I had been using regular Dunlop Nylons for a few years and liked them, but decided to give the Max Grips a try recently. I'm impressed with the tacky feel of the diamond-plate style texture on them, with a feel almost like rough grit sandpaper. My only issue with them is that the texture makes it tricky sometimes to change the pick position quickly, say if you need to hold the pick closer to the tip or rotate it a little for pinched harmonics. Otherwise I would give these 5 stars.
