Can't say much about this. It does its job wonderfully. It fits well on my stand and holds my picks well. Five thin picks fill it up. They are easy to take out, but when I put them in, it feels like I'm about break the mic stand, but that's just me being over reactive. You're a vocalist and a guitarist, then this is very needed.
In addition to the acoustic guitar, I play the Hammond organ in our church and even though it was only for a couple months, I was notorious for having to leave a set of picks for backup on the lower keyboard. Now with the mic stand pick holder the picks have a proper place for the picks; even when they're left on that stand it still looks better! ;-)
This thing is amazing! I'm not playing live or in a band, but I was able to slap this onto my tri-guitar stand vertical pole and now I have a fantastic place to hold my picks. I wasn't quite sure if it would fit but it's made of flexible rubber to conform to different widths of stands.
So this thing is pretty awesome it can hold 6-7 picks.I was playing a gig yesterday and mid solo i dropped a pick but thanks to this awesome pick holder i was able to grab another within miliseconds. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY GUITARIST/SINGER
This is a great item if you play live!!! Im one of those people who loses 5 picks everytime i pick up a guitar, so this was a great item for me. Now i always put my picks back in the holder when im done playing. It also lets you not worry about not having extra picks on stage, incase you drop one or something. This is something you NEED if you play live. Its made out of very high quality material, and i highly reccomend it.
I bought these as gifts for some friends of mine in a band. They are ecstatic about these and love them so much!! I do not play but they have a professional band and are starting to have quite a few gigs.
This was definitely worth the money. Works well. Nice and secure the picks don't fall out. Fit perfectly around my boom stand. I use it all the time. Thanks!
I picked up a pair of these for my nephews and they work great. Cheap and effective what more can you ask for.
I have been using these for several years. If you are like me in any way, you know you left a pick next to the phone, or on the coffee table, and infact there is probably a pick laying somewhere on every piece of furnature in you home or studio! BUt darn it, that means leaving your session or plinking with your fingers until the song ends. The Dunlop Microphone Stand Pick Holder is the perfect solution to dropped picks. I have them place anywhere and everywhere They will grip... mic stands, cymbal stands... you name it. Its a great investment that keeps your picks handy, and it never wears out like the alternative, double sided tape, and it's a lot less messy. I think this item is a must for any guitar or bass player both in the studio and for live gigs.
Okay so it looks like I'm not the only one with that habit. I must say it's a clever tool and a must-have for shows. No more digging the pockets or awkward moments when you drop the pick. The Dunlop Microphone Stand Pick Holder will always save the day, like an extra hand giving you picks.
