Not JUST for Large Hands.

By George

from NC

This tone bar did what I bought it for, a better fit. This bar is NOT JUST FOR PEOPLE WITH LARGE HANDS. The fit was perfect for me. I had a Lap Dawg before this tone bar. Great bar but it was hard for me to get and good grip. The thumb always seemed to be just about to slip off. If i pulled it back into my hand, my fingers drooped over the end of the bar and, got in the way on hammer on's. This bar took up all the slack. Now the high G string hammer on, is not a problem. If your thumbs getting tired or you find your self juggling the bar between notes to get a better purchase. GET THIS BAR.

Great slide bar.

By Jake

from Midwest City, OK

This slide bar glides as smooth as ever. The length is perfect for my big hands, but also gives my playing better sustain and vibrato. Definately a great buy and I would reccomend it to anyone! Also, the added weight is great, it helps keep my hand from wandering too much. All around great little bar.

Not just for pros

By James

from NY

I have many years of experience at guitar and bottleneck slide, but I've recently added lap steel to my repertoire. I tried several traditional tone bars and found them difficult to control. The Long Dawg fits your hand so well that it's very easy to play expressively, with control and tone. The shape of the playing surface lines right up w/ your middle finger. Rolling from the bar to the finger is effortless as is muting.
