This wah pedal is very nice. It puts out the perfect sound for Voodoo Chile. It has a really nice sound and really gives the Hendrix feel. Two thumbs up.
Jimi Hendrix Wah-Wah Effects Pedal is very nice wah pedal for the price. It has a very simple design and has nice sound. The Construction is very solid and in 3 years it works perfect. Good for Classic rock but not for metal players who like dive bombs.
This wah is amazing! It sounds just as good as any others and is very inexpensive. If you are looking for a good wah tone at a good price you have found it in the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Wah. Buy This!!!!!
This pedal is all you can ask for. It has a great sounding wah that Jimi himself would be proud to use. The only problem I have with it, is if you are using a battery, there is no light to tell you if the pedal is on,or off. This can waste the battery in long term. But that is a quick fix with the Battery pack. Get this pedal, it has a great sound that you can use anytime.
This Wah is a great bargain. It has a great sound and a lot of range. I've had mine for about five years and I've never had a problem with it. There are better wah's out there, but not for the price.
Dunlop went for a real sixties sound on this one. If you are a little shy about using a wah-wah you may want to keep shopping because this thing is very pronounced. It?s has a great raspy vowel-like thing happening. The sweep is a little quirky with most of the fun happening in the top 1/3 of the pedal. That top 1/3 is nice but the lower 2/3 has a very muddy sound that almost disappeared within the context of a band situation. I?m sure the tone pot could be twisted to produce a better range but we were expecting more from a stock unit. The lack of true bypass sucks a bit of tone and you will experience a touch of high end loss. Aside from those gripes, The Hendrix wah still has a unique voice that might work for your own playing style, just be prepared to open it up and twist that tone pot.
