These straplocks work great and are the only ones I buy. However if your the kind of person who likes to move around A LOT, like me [ex. jumping, swinging guitar around yourself] . . . you'll run into some problems. I put these straplocks on every guitar I have, and after enough jumping/swinging/w.e. the bottom screw strips itself out, and or bends. I fixed this problem by using glue and jamming little pieces of wood in the hole, so far this has worked, but who knows for how long. My friend plays bass and had the same problem and the glue/wood thing failed. he eventually was forced to drill new holes. So if you like me, be careful, and if you just need the locks simply prevent little accidents get these straplocks.

After using Schaller straplocks on one guitar, I decided to give these a try. While they have yet to let me down, I personally feel these are less secure. The design places the center of weight further away from the body of the guitar, which means that there's a higher possibility of the screw snapping out of the body of the guitar. I also noticed that it is much more of a hassle to take the part that stays on the strap off of the strap (i.e.- to change straps) than with the Schallers. Not a bad product, but not the best out there.

Dayuuuum

Comments about Dunlop Dual-Design Straplok System:

So I got the gold strap locking system for my Epiphone Les Paul Custom and i am amazed! It took me a little bit more effort than i thought i would have to take to put it but for good reason. The screws that it came with were a bit bigger than the stock screws so if you've got the same guitar (im not sure about other guitars) then be prepared to do some work. Its really cool how it all stays in one piece! No need to reassemble it every time...or at all :) They pop in and out with ease and they are so far extremely durable. It gives my guitar a more professional look plus its more comfortable to play standing up. I am so glad i bought this!!!! Im planing on attaching a set to all my guitars and straps PS- I have an Alpine White Epiphone Les Paul and i had to use a drill to make the hole bigger and get the new screws in.

Superb

Comments about Dunlop Dual-Design Straplok System:

I use these on 3 guitars, an ESP KH-202 (Light Weight Guitar), B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock (Light Weight Guitar), and an Ibanez RG7321 (Medium Light Weight Guitar) and these are amazing! As you can see none of my guitars are heavy, so i cant speak for heavy Guitars. But anyways these are fantastic, The screws are a little big for most guuitars, but its all good. They are sturdy, and come in universal colors, Black, Chrome, Gold. Plus if you put these on all of your guitars you can use one strap for em all! My strap has not fallen of my guitars since i got these! Pick some up, you wont regret it!

Comments about Dunlop Dual-Design Straplok System:

The one and only!! I would not even touch the next closest strap locking system out there. The Dunlop Straplok System is durable and can take any type of abuse. I have had mine on my guitar for over 3 years and they are like new. Buy these strap locks today and never fear of dropping you guitar again!!

SAFETY!!!!!!!!!!!

By Paramount66

Comments about Dunlop Dual-Design Straplok System:

Nice and secure feeling now. Use them on my Beatle Bass with excellent resaults! A little hard to install on my Levy's Padded Leather strap, but well worth the effort and expense. Now I need to get some for my acoustic!

Comments about Dunlop Dual-Design Straplok System:

these locks hold well but they are soo awkward looking on my guitar, maybe its just cause mine is an lp, but they stick soo far out away from the guitar, almost unbalancing it, they hold well though, i trading them for shallers
