Excellent addition for your bass rep-er-toire

By ERIC B

from Cleveland, Ohio

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

This thing really enhances that funk sound on your bass. Depending on how you press on it, it can also be used to add a sort of "tremolo" effect to your notes as well. It's a VERY versatile piece. One of those that gets the creative juices flowing whether you're soloing or playing a groove. Another dimension for us bassists.

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

Got this pedal a couple months ago. It is amazing and worth the money. I have had no problems with it and love using it at shows and just to jam with friends.

Perfect Wah

By Billy Berger

from Trenton, N.J

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

I bought this wah pedal the day after Christmas. I was planning on buying the Digi tech wah pedal but after comparing the two i knew the dunlop was the right one for me. There are a lot of Wah pedals out there but Dunlop truely perfected the bass wah. I did only find one problem with this pedal. the output is a bit to high, i dile the output to about 5/8's of the volume. and i put the wah effect all the way up for the perfect wah tone. Overall this pedal is awesome, a bit pricey but i found it totaly worth it.

Awesome Bass Wah

By Devin

from Kansas City, KS

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

When I first heard about this, I thought it would be a little bit more on a Distorted or Overdriven side, so when I first played it, I was a little disappointed but at the same time glad it wasn't like a Distorted Wah. It's more of a funk sounding wah, but with Distortion can make you sound incredible. It can even make trippy, alien sounds when playing or tapping harmonics by experimenting with the knobs on your bass and messing with the pedal. Note, anyone wanting "pure metal wah", get Morley Wahs, they're better for that type of stuff, but this wah pedal can make the verse to Rage Against the Machine's "Calm Like a Bomb".

Great, but not Perfect

By A.J.

from Minnetonka

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

I like this Wah a lot. It gives that funky sound like all wahs do. However, I don't like the fact that this wah dose not affect the low end. I want a wah that affects all frequencies like the rest of the Dunlop wahs made for guitar. Also, because this is an "auto-return" wah, this pedal dose not have True Bypass. Overall, amazing wah pedal, but not the best I've tried.

Great Pedal

By James

from Nashville, IN

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

I got this pedal for christmas of 2009 and i love it. I like how it can cut out the highs and lows. it really comes in handy when i play rage against the machine type bass lines. I also like the sound it creates when mixed with distortion and multi effects pedals. so overall it is the best decision you can make on buying wah pedals.

Anger your guitarist!

By Pozzo

from Grand Blanc, MI

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

I got this pedal in May of 2009, and it has never let me down. It's really easy to dial in your tone and keep it that way, and it's fun to use for tapping or hammer-on runs. I use it for most of my solos and it pisses off my guitarist, which makes me love it that much more. I use it with a Fender Standard Precision Bass and an Ampeg combo amp.

Soooo stoked

By tshiznit

from Pine Brook, NJ

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

I just got this bad boy today for christmas, and I am like a kid in a candy shop. Just by itself, this thing opens up a whole new realm of sounds for me, but when combined with my chorus and overdrive pedals, I can make sounds I only dreamed about. Remember, I've only had it one day, so we shall still see if it's as durable as it should be, but for right now, Dunlop has made me a happy man.

Awesome Bass Wah

By KaizerWilhelm

from Seattle, WA

Comments about Dunlop Cry Baby 105Q Bass Wah Pedal:

I got this a couple of days ago and I must say, it rocks! I used to have the Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah and I thought it was alright but what I really like about it was the spring back action. One reason why I didn't like it was because when I used it, all of my lows were lost. No longer with this pedal! This wah is great, it has the spring back action I like and it ONLY wahs the highs and hi-mids so you can still have a great bottom end to hold you down. The variable Q and volume knobs on the side are a major plus. Those really help you find the tone you're looking for. People say the price is too high, but I think it's totally worth it. Go and try it out, you won't be disappointed.
