Dunlop worked closely with Slash to design the Slash Cry Baby Classic wah pedal, custom-voiced for the raw, expressive sound that influenced a generation of guitar players. Throughout his career, Slash has used the Cry Baby to create his trademark epic solos that he weaves into his groundbreaking gritty, blues-influenced rock.
Tuned to a lower frequency and featuring a custom-wound resonance inductor, this wah has a huge dynamic range and a wide sweep. Two side-mounted blue LEDs indicate ON/OFF status, viewable from any angle onstage, so you can always tell when the effect is on. The Slash Cry Baby Classic also features high quality components, such as a true hardwire bypass switch and a long-life pot. Housed in a heavy-duty die-cast casing featuring custom Slash graphics, this wah is as killer looking as it is sounding.

I have had the previous Slash wah pedal for about 2 years. It was ok. It wasnt the best wah pedal out but it was unique. I bought this new one and I can say this one is alot better than the old one. The old one is really trebly while this one has a very fat tone. Its tuned to a lower frequency and it is based on the Crybaby classic. The Crybaby classic and the previous Slash wah have the red Fasel inductor, but this one has a new Slash custom inductor that sounds great. This one is totally worth the money, even if you have the other Slash wah pedal. They both sound different from eachother.
First, it's expensive and as far as I'm concerned, it is too expensive. However, it is the best wah I've ever played. It has a wide full sweep and does drop your tone at all. It is thick and rich and enjoys the company of other pedals. Say what you want about Slash, but the gear he signs off on he must be playing live with because it is awesome live and the LED lights should be included with every wah manufactured. Well done.
Slash is my favorite guitar player, but I'm starting to get sick of seeing his name on everything. Anybody with $10k can buy everything he uses now. However, I'm very pleased with this wah pedal. The last slash wah had a terrible distortion circuit that was basically unusable and was a power soak. This wah is a simple crybaby classic with a slightly adjusted sweep and runs on only 9 volts. This is very similar to a standard classic crybaby but I think its sweep is wider and sweeter. I also like the addition of led lights on current dunlop wahs. I currently use the Custom Audio Electronics MC-404 and I'm in love with it, but for a wah pedal that just clicks on and off with no bells and whistles, this sounds the best. $130 is very reasonable too. If you want a very vocal sweep that isn't too dark or too bright then give this a try. Oh and the graphics actually look pretty cool in person too.
