  • Not the best...

As reviewed by Klisk on 10/12/2006

They're okay. The problem isn't in the quality, but the screw. It's bigger than your average screw, so you have to drill a hole in your guitar. I find that this strips the wood, and can, in some cases with softer woods, cause the lock to fail. Not bad, if you like it that's fine, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

  • Must Have These!

As reviewed by 1995*Strat on 9/1/2006

I have used these for a while on most of the electric guitars that I have and think they are great. Installation was simple using nothing more than a power screwdriver and a small wrench. Once installed these strap locks are simple to use and have never failed. I have the chrome locks and have never had a problem with tarnishing. I would highly recommend this item to everyone who has an electric guitar, for the price they can't be beat.

  • Industry Standard

As reviewed by Dustin on 12/3/2010

Pros: Been around for ever and a day, and for a good reason. I've been using them since the eighties... Never fail with proper installation. Cons: As previously stated, to make them perfect for all, Dunlop should throw in optional Screws with differing thread pitches, and diameters...
