Arm yourself for rock warfare.

The Dunlop DB-01 Dime Crybaby From Hell is a hot-rodded wah with an extended sweep so you can get more high end with the pedal down or low end with the pedal up. A 5-way selector on the side lets you choose which frequency you want to play with and also features a kick-in boost. LED indicators inform you of status, even on darkened stages. An extra input on the left lets you go in and out on the same side. Controls include an adjustable volume boost (0 to +17dB). An adjustable Q control modulates frequency breadth and a fine tune knob lets you adjust the toe down sweep range. It sounds bad and with camo graphics, it looks bad.

  • unbeleivable

As reviewed by anonomys on 9/22/2009

This pedal is unbelivable! I bought today on a whim and took it home knowing that if i din't like i could take it back. I've used the digitech combo with the wah and this one blows it out of the park. It's great sound. The on off switch is a little tricky to get used to at first and the tone knobs for the boost are a little flimsy but if you dont abuse them they should last. I would definatly recomend this pedal.

  • True Multi-Wah Pedal

As reviewed by Pedalbored on 3/22/2010

I've own this pedal for about 3 years now and i must say its the best out there. Can get everything from Hendrix to Cantrell (Alice In Chains) to Dimebag himself. You can set it up to sound however you desire can even tweak it to become a "Set Wah" pedal to where it dont make much moise when you go from toe down to heel up sound so you can use this baby to become a great lead boost or add more character to tone. The 3 knobs on the side really let you get any desired sound you wish and the 6 way knob on the right side allows for drastic change in over all sound. Spend some time with it and tweak it to and Crybaby Wah Wah sound out there try to get that Set Wah sound you want. The skateboard grip it is great to your foot dont come off this pedal until you want it. Also the red switch on the right for boost really helps out when it comes time to steal the spot light with some soloing. Great for any style and built like a tank.

  • pretty awsome

As reviewed by rusty on 8/6/2010

Very good wah pedal. When they say extended sweep they mean it. It has a very wide range. The tone gets very high, and extremely bassy. The range selector is nice, although i dont use it a lot. The boost is nice but does add quite a bit of noise if the volume on the wah is up. the variable q and fine tune is also a great feature. i usually dont mess with them a lot, i have them on one setting. It is much different than a classic or other crybaby. There is much more bass. Thats a good thing, but depending on your needs could be bad. You cant use it in the toe up position to thicken up leads because it will make the bass to flubby if you know what i mean. but if thats not a concern then its great. i would imagine it works great with down tunings, but i cant say because i play in basically e standard 99.9% of the time. I play metallica, amongst other thrash, and other blues inspired leads of my own. I love it although sometimes i wish it sound it a little more like a classic wah, but dont me wrong it sounds great and is maybe the best wah out there, it just depends on your needs and style.
