Let me first say that my amp sounds terrible, but when I plugged this wah pedal in the sound change was dramatic. This wah sounds amazing even on my small slightly blown out amp. I recommend to anyone who wants to find their own original sounds instead of settling for a signature wah that will only attempt to make you sound like that specific guitarist. This wah is extremely versatile, it goes from thick heavy wah sounds to high frequency screaming sounds. The volume boost is the coolest thing I have ever seen or heard, you just kick the switch on the side of the pedal and it adds even more emphasis on whatever your playing, whether your amp is set to clean or heavy distortion. Overall great wah, best wah, and a highly recommended wah. P.S. Im picky as hell and this choice of a wah pedal was not a spur of the moment decision, this turned out to the best.

  • Wanted to Love It

As reviewed by Jake on 5/14/2011

I've owned this wah for a little over two years know and recently discovered that it was the source an absolutely wicked tone-sucking in my guitar rig. I used to run a Crybaby 535q, Boss TU-2, MXR Custom Comp, Fulltone OCD v.3., ISP Decimator, EHX Holy Grail, and a MXR Carbon Copy all mounted on top of a pedaltrain and powered by a voodoo labs +2. I realized when I decided to plug straight into my amp the other day that I was missing tones of tone and a nearly half of my volume. I started troubleshooting by unplugging pedals one at a time... sure enough, it was this pedal and this pedal alone. I loved the versatility of this pedal but for anyone out there who is plugging into a decent amp, get something else. Its not worth destroying your tone just to have this wah in line.

  • Control!

As reviewed by pmm86 on 11/3/2006

I have had this pedal for a while and am very pleased. This is a beast of a pedal with a ton of control to give unique sounds and to really find that specific sound. The boost feature is really cool when soloing. It such a versitile pedal. I use it for funk, blues and rock solos. It is worth the money!
