Dunlop has been my go-to pick manufacturer for some years. Unfortunately, they have reached a new nadir in pick merchandising. The new "Santana" and "Grateful Dead" picks are flimsy at best. Additionally, the pick tin is no longer made of tin (apparently). Super-lightweight material results in a rather "fake" appraisal of this product. Clearly different than previous offerings such as the "Hendrix" series, the new pick-tins are disappointing, overpriced and fundamentally flawed by new production imperatives. By the way, the real deal, is the inclusion of six (6)!!! lousy, flimsy picks. Dig, six picks in a plastic toss-off of a product. Splendid example of the current guitar-musician-artists' dilemma of an overpriced, quality impaired market.
